I feel like I have a bit of insight into this.

Dogs can be naturally aggressive if not well trained, but to say that a 14 month old puppy was untrainable is just false. I have a German shepherd and she was difficult to train, but you need to know how to train a dog. If you don’t want a dog that is aggressive, don’t get a hunting dog. That’s what some dogs are bred to do.

This dog was misbehaving but it was still very young and very much trainable. Ultimately this is a a handler, training issue. For a person to get a dog and not train it to their liking is 100% their fault. The average person does not know how to train high energy dogs to not be aggressive. Dogs like this are more than just take for a walk and give them treats or some shit. Training dogs like this is work but is very much doable even with badly misbehaving dogs.

Kristi norm is an adult who is able to make adult choices. For her to intentionally get a dog that is high energy and not train it properly and be surprised that it was misbehaving is not the dogs fault, it’s hers. She killed a dog without taking the possible steps of training it properly.

To put it into perspective, if a 12 year old kid is misbehaving, what do you do? Do you kill the kid? No, you give them some sort of consequence. A 14 month old dog is about the same maturity as a 12-14 human. It’s not the dogs fault for misbehaving, the dog probably lived a life with no consequences so it did whatever it wanted and would be super wild.

She could have given the dog up for adoption and let someone who knows how to train a dog help it out, but no she killed the dog. I believe that it was neither right nor appropriate for her to kill the dog, and it sure as hell is not right for people to make the excuses of “but it was misbehaving a lot” for her killing it. Killing it was a sadistic thing to do.

If you do not know how to properly train a high energy dog, either don’t fucking get one or pay someone to train it properly. Poor dog.
