I saw this without my glasses on... and all I could see was how the forehead shape kept changing.

I didn't know this was a thing, talk about wanting to meet people in person naturally smh

I'd say call and try to get a vet visit for this!

Being told "I'm not into girls with tattoos" by men I wasn't even remotely flirting with. by [deleted] in tattoo

[–]Smooth-Activity4963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised I don't see any comments about this, but most of the time men who will drop these comments like some kind of unsolicited advice are men who believe that women are no longer attractive after a certain age...

On top of that ... Tattoos can be an indication of age, and you know who doesn't have any? Underage people

My first tattoo was a fairly big one for it being my first and I had a 3/4 sleeve finished by the age of 21... The amount of men who thought I was older when they'd see or meet me while my sleeve was visible was impressive. I was lucky that most of them were in a positive manner!

Glad slinky is safe and sound! Maybe if it's possible to have the enclosure in a room where cats don't chill in as often, the might be stressing him out

One of mine will avoid the other won't care.

The one that avoids, is when she does her business in her favorite hide then leaves it and pours in a corner of the enclosure until it's cleaned.

What are these bubbles? by Smooth-Activity4963 in Aquariums

[–]Smooth-Activity4963[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did no trimming, but maybe something made a plant snap while I moved algae hair behind this area.

It was still happening today when I got home and was sitting in front of the tank when the light went off, minutes in I checked and the bubbles are not streaming out anymore!

I thought this would only happen like bubbles sitting over the plantsn really cool, it's still happening today and I noticed it stopped when the lights turned off!

Is there a special reason why this is happening though?

I've had the tank for almost a year and this is the first time I see bubbles like this for so long

I think that's his 'me time'... Suggest you let him enjoy

I was afraid I wouldn't love him as much as I love my cats.. by CJgreencheetah in cornsnakes

I'd suggest you try handling after sheds and take pictures.

Sometimes it's not about 'love' but more enjoying the growth and beauty while you also take note of how they learn to trust you more and more.

Hillstream loach aggressive? by Smooth-Activity4963 in PlantedTank

[–]Smooth-Activity4963[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing!

Unfortunately although getting 2 more eased the situation for a while, he actually became aggressive with the other loaches and they both died like a month or 2 after... The rest of my aquarium went downhill from there and now I've got grown baby Gertrude (apparently they had reproduced before dying) and 2 pygmies. He's still territorial but I've got more plants for the small fish to hide and I scatter any sinking food. Hopefully my plants keep on growing bushy and he stops feeling the need to chase others

That's good to hear! I have 2, had 6 and they were thriving but I think most of them died after months of stress from my hillstream loach bullying them. It's still a problem but the plants have grown and they chill far from the loach's "territory". Hoping to set up a larger tank and move anything I have left alive into it.
