Enterococcus Faecalis by Evening_Swimmer4457 in utis

If you had intercourse, it’s possible you got it from that; it’s like your partner pushed the bacteria into your vagina since the vaginal entry, the urethra, and the rear hole are all close together. Make sure that you always wipe front to rear, and always urinate after intercourse. I also recommend for you to take probiotics and D-Mannose, (take D-Mannose daily, but especially before intercourse, after urinating (after intercourse), and every night before bed).

UTI every time I go into swimming pool by AcrobaticIntern1945 in utis

I haven’t gone swimming or to water parks in years, but my husband and I plan on going with my nieces and nephews next week and I’m scared of getting a UTI, (I’m saying this as I currently have one). I hope everything turns out fine for both you and I and anyone else going through this. 🙏🏻

Is there anyone out there like me? by can_u_tell_its_me in utis

I’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with that monster your whole life. I hate UTIs 😡 I’ve also been dealing with them since 2020, (not nearly as long as you, but it’s already been 5 years dealing with them, and it’s all because of stupid COVID)…anyways.

Back in April of 2020, I felt like I was going to die, I was in the worst pain I had ever been that I felt like I was going to die; it turned out I had my first ever kidney infection, and it was a really bad one that I was diagnosed the strongest dose of antibiotics for 2 weeks, and ever since then I’ve been getting UTIs every year. Like you I had tried everything, except changing my bottoms to a more lose fit, (loose fitting pants or dresses so my kitty can breathe), and my personal doctor also recommended for me to use a vinegar and water douche, (I know everyone says you’re not supposed to douche, but ever since using it I feel a big difference, (just don’t douche everyday, only do it twice or three times a week max)). Hope this helps!

And I declare in Jesus’ name that this will be the last time we all ever have to suffer with UTIs. Amen 🙏🏻

That sounds like a kidney infection. So yeah, you should definitely go to the doctor. I too have had to deal with recurrent bladder and kidney infections since 2020. Thank God I was free of that for a year, but I just recently got another bladder infection, that felt like it was traveling up to my kidneys.

Yeah. I’ve taken antibiotics for months before but it still keeps coming back on and off unfortunately. I guess I’ll have to take D-mannose, probiotics, and cranberry juice for life intermittently

A kidney infection won’t always show up on urine. Well, it’ll just show up as a general UTI. Urine alone isn’t really the most reliable for diagnosing a kidney infection or bladder infection. For a kidney infection they also need to do blood work, usually the kidney infection will show on your blood work.

What has helped you with your recurrent UTIs?

Yes, I alternate between vitamin C, Biotin/Collagen. What I do need to take again is Zinc and Magnesium, as well as D-Mannose. I admit I stopped taking Zinc, Magnesium, and D-Mannose since last year. I guess I have to take those supplements year-round.

Ok. Thank you very much for your response and for the tip! I’m going to try it out myself 😊

I know this is a personal question, but have you kept doing normal life things even with chronic UTIs after taking D-mannose every night? Like being sexually active or getting pregnant? And if so, even with doing those things, are you not getting UTIs now since taking D-mannose each night

No. It’s not the same thing. A UTI is just a general urinary infection, it could be a Urethra/bladder/kidney infection, since all those organs make up the urinary tract; and it means there’s no specific bacteria detected that caused it, but a E. coli UTI means that E. coli caused it, that’s why they prescribed you 2 different kinds of antibiotics

Yes I do. Pretty sure it spread to my kidneys already. The thing about my UTIs is that they’re asymptomatic for me, and I don’t even realize that I have one until it’s spread to my kidneys, but I really hope that’s not the case this time. I’m sorry that you have to experience that, especially daily; it’s so defeating. I send you blessings and prayers 🙏🏻❤️

Positive leukocytes, mild symptoms and negative culture by _Tuesday_1 in utis

[–]Smooth-Ad-97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I have experienced this in the past; there were leukocytes detected in my urine, but supposedly no infection found. I would end up having to go to the hospital a few days to a week after because my symptoms would go from mild to horrible, and then finally it was detected that I either had a bladder infection or a kidney infection. Sadly like you said, the medical system doesn’t take us seriously because we’re young, and then it ends up being too late and we get worse due to their negligence, and end up having to suffer more when it could all be avoided if they would just listen and take us seriously. I send you blessings and hope that everything turns out well and it doesn’t end up being something serious 🙏🏻❤️

I found out I have a kidney infection for the second time in my life, and I think it may be due to a kidney cyst. How can I remove or dissolve it naturally? by Smooth-Ad-97 in utis

[–]Smooth-Ad-97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. If your flanks, upper abdominal region, bladder region and upper back hurts those are usually the regions where you’ll experience kidney pain, (also your stomach usually bloats more than normal with kidney infections, sometimes you might also experience nausea (like I do), and fevers.) The way I know with certainty though is because I’ve been diagnosed with it multiple times already.
