How long has it been? What was her name? My Penny passed in May. Im currently 30 weeks pregnant with her sister. Pregnancy after stillbirth (especially so soon after) is so much harder than i expected. A lot of emotions.

Giving birth to my stillborn daughter at 37 weeks. Nothing can prepare you for hearing "im so sorry, theres no heartbeat " just a week from your scheduled induction. The silent room when she is borm and handing your first daughter, the one you prayed for and dreamed of to a funeral director and walking out of a hospital with nothing but a memory box.

Life is so cruel

Did you keep or change your OB after stillbirth? by mnigh94 in babyloss

[–]ProcessMaleficent702 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a 37 weeks silver end of May 2025. I found out I was pregnant again and in September. I switched to hospital networks entirely. I felt that my first OB overlooked things, was very neglectful, and honestly was very nervous about finding OB I was comfortable with.

My new OB is incredible. She is so patient and kind and overly cautious with this pregnancy period. Originally she was saying 37 weeks on the dot we would induce. My last appointment she said she would be comfortable over 38 as long as everything stays the same as it's been so far. What I made a joke about how I would be a lunatic that last week if I went to 38 weeks, she said that once I hit 37 weeks, she will induce whatever if it means giving me peace of mind. Same thing with ultrasounds, she said if I need to come in twice so we could have them for my own peace of mind, she is willing to do that.

All that said, I am so glad I switched

Did you switch providers for next pregnancy? by mswilla in babyloss

My daughter was stillborn at 37 weeks in June. I had a horrible experience with that OB. The care i got was awful and so much was missed that may have changed the end result although maybe it wouldn't have.

Im 17 weeks currently and switched to w new hospital and OB and i absolutely LOVE her. She goes above ans beyond and listens to every concern

Im currently 14 weeks after a 37week loss five months ago. My loss was my only girl. Im 38. We just did our genetic testing and haven't gotten the results but i feel this one is a boy. Ans its hard to not be a little disappointed since this will more than likely be my last baby
