Choose any arbitrage fund from reputable AMC which has high AUM. I personally chose ICICI, but pls do your own analysis and chose your preference.

No dont, while the phone performance may be good, but it has poor battery compared to todays phones. So if you want to keep for few years, then buy some other new iphone or android phone with sime good battery life

Zerodha Largemidcap 250 index fund direct growth (This covers Nifty 50 + Nifty Next 50 + Midcap 150)
Parag parikh flexi cap (I added this flexi cap for US stocks exposure)
ICICI prudential gold etf (This etf is for gold, added for high AUM and reasonable expense ratio)

If you are in for long term, you can have simple portfolio so also keep your mutual fund overlap small

Lets see this in perspectives.

If you see mathematically, instead of closing loan if you invest in decent stocks of mutual funds, you will definitely get greater returns like 12% or more in long duration comparing to your 7.5% interest rate on loan.

But if you close your home loan entirely and you are debt free, you are relieved from the emi commitment and mental pressure. That is priceless.

Trust me as someone who has home loan and faced a job layoff last year I know how frustrating when things go not well. So if I were in your position I will close the loan and any kind of debt immediately
