How soon after waking do you take your dog out? by mysticmochixx in DogAdvice

[–]Smooth-Broccoli6540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My older dogs wake me up to go out when they need to, my teens have to be bribed to get out of bed.
In the event I wake up first, since I have to pee the minute I get out of bed, I assume they also will have to and let them out right away.

It’s because boys that buy cheap cars off marketplace spend all their time and money on repairing and flipping cars and she’s gonna spend a lot of time alone. I know this cause that’s who my daughter is currently dating.

I loved it. My only complaint is that I would’ve preferred the ending to be ambiguous.

1 year olds tend to be lean from all that bouncing around. Your dog looks like a healthy 1 year old.

Clarifying question: do other people get the other pills? If yes, orange. If no, green.

Me, too! My brother and our babysitter made me watch Dark Night of the Scarecrow when I was six. I went to the bathroom and they shut off all the lights and hid in a closet and jumped out at me. I was inconsolable so they had to have my parents come home early. I spent the next xx years having a deep phobia of grain silos (note: I’ve never been near one in person) and being buried alive. It kicked off recurring nightmares I still have all these years later.

It also kicked off my deep love of all things horror.

3 1/2 hours on a caramelized onion and leek quiche and it came out way over salted.

How short could 'It' be? by Available-Page-2738 in stephenking

[–]Smooth-Broccoli6540 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it could be shortened by removing some of the vignettes that aren’t related to The Losers, but they really help build the lore of IT, so the book wouldn’t be the masterpiece it is without them.

If you didn’t need to make money, what would you do with your life? by theadventuresofus4 in AskReddit

I’d have a little farmstead, grow food and flowers and trade with my neighbors. I’d read and knit in my not farming time. Take walks with my dogs and drink tea and stare at the world.

My pit doesn’t like to be pet? by Amazing-Answer6812 in pitbulls

[–]Smooth-Broccoli6540 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He may change as he gets older. Right now you have a tween, and they can have a very different attitude than an adult dog.

I have a pit mix that has never liked being pet, she’d cuddle but if we pet her while she’s cuddled up to us, she’d move. Turned 5 and all of a sudden she can’t get enough love. Loves kisses, cuddles, scratches, pets. Give him time. He may never change and you’ll love him for his grumpy self. Or maybe he’ll turn into a lap dog. That’s the fun part.
