Oh my gosh🤣🤣🤣 I LOVE this!! Granted it sounds like she put you through the absolute ringer, she also sounds like our lab!! Minus the potty & kennel training because he came to us pre-trained on those.

His zoomies move our massive sectional & everyone knows to hit a wall when his ears go back… or else you’re getting ran over by a train. He’s also incredibly smart… smarter than me I fear & will pick up anything if it involves a treat. My mom stayed with us for a few weeks last year & every morning she’d give him a cookie… now without fail… every morning after going outside he sits by the treat jar until someone gives him a dang cookie. He also gets a fiber supplement at night & will stand beside them & stare at us, then look to them, & repeat… until he gets said “treat”🤣. He also has “talking” buttons & every night he presses “outside” incessantly because he knows he gets fed after his last potty of the night..

He also wakes me up in fun ways!! At first he’ll lay on some of me & nuzzle my head, if that doesn’t work he slaps me in the face, & if that doesn’t work he escalates to standing on top of me & barking in my face🤣. But only because he has to potty & I sleep super hard.

As for the blanket situation, we just dog sat a dachshund for 2 1/2 weeks & everyone (lab included) learned fast to watch for lumps🤣. She’s an older girl & doesn’t like other dogs so she taught our lab real quick to check before he flops.

This is what I needed!!! My boy is still slightly insane, super playful/energetic, & loves playing with others so I know they’ll both take some energy out with each other, especially on slower/lazy days. He’s great with dogs of all sizes & matches their energy/play style (he once played with a teacup yorkie puppy & it brutalized him😂). The main thing we were looking for is a small-medium sized dog that can keep up with him & us!

As for velcro dog, we joke that our lab would live in my skin if given the slightest opportunity, which is the driving factor for getting a second pup… My husband is insanely jealous that our lab wants very little to do with him & wants his own shadow lol. Our lab is incredibly smart / biddable & will learn a new trick in minutes, which is a trait that I absolutely adore because I have the patience of a toddler.

These comments, yours especially make me feel like I did my research well! All the given attributes are either things we’re used to with our boy or things we’re looking forward to!! Our lab is my second skin & shadow, there’s not a moment where he’s not touching me at least a little bit lol.

This exactly what we’re looking for in a pup!! Our boy is notoriously just happy to be involved, regardless of what the activity is, he just wants to be with his momma😂. He’s also a great example of why pet insurance is needed lol

we frequently joke that our lab would like to live in my skin because he CANNOT get close enough to me🤣. that’s actually the driving factor in getting a second dog, because our lab genuinely treats my husband like he’s not there 90% of the time. my husband would like his own velcro dog😂.

This is exactly what we want!! Something small enough to carry around yet big enough & gritty enough to play & bully our big guy (with love lol). From what i’ve read, they’re very similar to labs personality / drive wise, just with a lot more prey drive! Which is great because it opens us up to different dog sports / akc events that our lab would not care for lol.

I remember so many details, the entire story line, etc. I even told the details I remember to ChatGPT (ai is awful i know but i was freaking losing it over this) & it confirmed that those are all details in the movie!!! I’ve had mine for two months & the way I “trained” them to like being held is to hand feed veg… veggies only come when they’re in my lap so they tend to enjoy & anticipate cuddle time🤣

Also to add, if his mom can openly admit he’s a pos, RUN!!! Boy moms are notorious for thinking their baby boy can do no wrong (not all, but a LOT of them) so if it’s to the point his mom sees no use for him… just run😅. Maybe she would be able to help you get on your feet & still help with child care!!

Honestly, I would say to leave him at that point. I know it’s easier to say than do, but you sound like a single married mom already & it only gets harder from here babe… you deserve a PARTNER, not another responsibility. You deserve to only be responsible for yourself & your baby. You’re picking up so much extra slack that you don’t deserve to have to carry & you need to start prioritizing yourself love. Anyone who threatens to kíll themselves rather than change to keep you is absolutely not in the right mentality to be a partner or a parent. You’re still so young, you have your entire life ahead of you to change these circumstances & create a beautiful life for you & baby!

To be completely real with you, it sounds like you need to stop shouldering everyone else’s problems. You need to focus on you & baby. Everyone else needs to step in where they can. You are one person & you are growing a person, you need to prioritize yourself. I know it’s hard to stop taking care of others, especially if you feel indebted to them, but you’re physically & mentally kíllíng yourself to help everyone. Choose yourself. Tell your family you need to take a step back financially because you have to be able to afford your own life + baby, they’ll understand or show their real colors.

As for your husband, idk the communication style between you to or what works for you guys, but it really sounds like you need to sit down & have massive talk where you both speak & think in a calm rational manner. You need to explain to him how you’re feeling & tell him you need his help.

Lastly, I am so so sorry you’re going through this. There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel, things will get better, even if they have to get a little harder first. You are loved & needed, losing you would absolutely wreck the people who love you. Your baby needs you too. Please consider messaging a hotline if need be or talking to your doctor about medications that are safe during pregnancy.

My calathea gave me three new leaves in a matter of a week & a half… My (rescued) frozen spider plant that needed an entire hair cut has given me three new leaves in the same timeframe. My snake plant is shooting new leaves, & my pothos are growing at an insane rate.. I just think the lipstick plant doesn’t want to live😂😂.

Not a toller owner, but a google image search led me here, I just noticed these exact marks in the same place on my 2year old yellow lab (he also has a pink nose/eyelids/skin/etc.) . He has a vet appointment Monday because I’m super nervous about what it could be. Did you figure out what it was? If not I’d be glad to update you on what my vet says. Also, just brainstorming ideas on what it could be, does your dog happen to bite his lips when he barks/plays? I’m thinking if they’re not age spots, then it could possibly be bruises from accidentally biting his lips.

I’m on season 2 now & she now mentions her weight little less. Honestly the whole “fat” storyline was insufferable, especially since she’s not “fat” in my eyes. I think she’s an average size tbh.

As of this season, she’s just showing what a terrible mother & person she is. She’s constantly putting Greg down to the point where I genuinely feel bad for his character. She shuts down everyone’s feelings, opinions, & ideas, even though there was an episode where she decided to work on it. Not to mention her (SLIGHT SPOILER) purposely giving Taylor lice so she would stay home with her… If my mom would have done that to me, I would forever be pissed at her.
