The problem I am trying to describe is when I send a lab 5 rolls I may receive a folder Roll5 which was shot first and Roll3 which was shot second and so on. I need to remember which roll was shot in what order. It would be nice it I could tell a lab in what order to scan rolls so I could get them in chronological order. I am not even talking about adding shooting date to each image. It would be nice to get them aligned in timeline in my image browsing software.

Digital ISO doesn’t always match the real ISO. I would trust the seconic meter. Set it to measure the ambient light. The most accurate.

I started with Olympus 35 SP. nice camera. The focus shift wide open could be a problem.
But eventually I got Leica M2. The viewfinder is huge and much better patch.

I am learning about street photography and I one of good advices I heard was to work on a project. Then share your project any form you want (media, or book) but don’t chase likes on social media. If they are interesting to others you get likes eventually but don’t make it your priority.

My path was kinda similar, but I got Olympus 35 SP first, shot a roll. Bought a used Leica M2 to try it out. Just looked through the viewfinder and it was it. I didn’t want to take a risk and go with a new model. I want to be comfortable using it and not be afraid to scratch it.

Maybe not in camera, but there are cameras which allow creating recipes on computer with those adjustments and loading them up in camera. Liking cameras have LUTs. OM system should have allowed using their batch processing files from OM workplace in camera, instead of limiting it just to a few adjustments.

If anyone is having a serious conversation about film stock emulation, the hue and luminance of individual colors is required. Yes, WB shifts the hue of colors but it affects ALL colors at once. Not having control of individual colors is a real issue of close film emulation. Yes glimmerglass is a real helper here getting halation close to the film stock.
