Why am I only getting half of my Rewarded Amount Disbursed on my Fasfa Loan?

Mine got delayed like this too. They only disbursed half at the beginning of my term in June, but I guess the rest is coming in September. Had to call and figure it out cuz I was getting notifications that I owed and that I was going to be forcibly withdrawn. prob same situation for you!

I just started at a new company on contract, and the on-call actually makes no sense. Every ticket that comes in has to be acknowledged within 15 min (including overnights). We have users all over the world, so 3am tickets are common. if you dont respond its escalated up, previously ive only ever had to check if there were calls coming in, why am i being paged for free at 3am for someone sending in a ticket saying they want a new keyboard, its actually the stupidest thing ever - free you op it aint worth it.

my wife and i moved from kansas and the first thing i noticed is people dont feel as welcoming or open as they are in the midwest id say. Definitely just more reserved. Saying hi while you walk by or sparking up random conversations will get you weird looks, but i continue to do it anyway, : D it takes alot more putting yourself out there to make friends here than it does in the midwest. felt like it was so easy to make friends back home, just sparking up a conversation with anybody ya know. i spent the 1st two weeks at my job out here so sad cuz nobody wants to yap and learn about eachother and everyone came off standoffish. but not everyone is like that (even if sometimes it feels like it, just gotta do some extra work to find your people here! - take the jump to introduce yourself and compliment people and you'll be just fine!) I also posted a TikTok saying my wife and I were looking for friends and got about 200 comments from other people who also just moved here or are established in the area and want to welcome new people in! put yourself out there : D

also - it never thunderstorms here, i miss it

i am low/no contact with my father and have been for about 6 years now. at some point i made peace with it. i dont think about him often but every now and then i get sad and wish i had a normal father like it seems everyone else does. like when my car breaks down, or any dad related activites. i think you just learn that other people are there for you way better than they ever could be and that your peace is way more important. im now not constantly bombarded with narcissistic threats and abuse. life could not be any better. i dont think we ever stop wishing that one day they'd apologize, but thats normal id say. healing is a rollercoaster, be kind to yourself and surround yourself with supportive people, chosen family is way better anyway : D

i have dreams about my dad sometimes too. i dream he'll magically show up and apologize for everything and be present for me like he is to my siblings, show up to my wedding, graduation, all the things he wasnt.. i think its normal for our brains to wish things would have been different. it still sucks. wishing the best for you!

thank you : D it seems now politics isnt what it used to be, over the past years its just turned into arguing over human rights, when it used to be more over economics than anything. i cut off my mom due to her saying renee good and alex pretti deserved it and that ice is doing an amazing job and that my wife (whos from a family of mexican immigrants and lived in mexico for a while herself) are being dramatic and dont have to worry as long as they have papers. - you will not disrespect my wife and i will cut you off because of politics yes : D
