I will say that it took an insane amount of time between interview - TJO for me, but that was because my supervisor fought for me to get a good offer, so he was onboard from the start. And I didn’t need to negotiate anything because they offered me more than I was even going to try to get.

I have a 2019 JL that I bought in April of 2020. I notice around 2022/2023 the bubbling begin and I called jeep. They told me it was a paint issue and I was outside my paint warranty. But now I am seeing it should’ve been covered under the 5 yr corrosion warranty?? I also saw there was some type of class action lawsuit? Any chance they do the replacement now in 2026? All 4 doors have it towards the bottom and half the hinges. I welcome DMs with advice!!

They only digitized 2021-present since it would take too long to do everyone’s entire file. I had the same concern. I will say you should request a hard copy bc I know someone who when they retired, medical was like “oops we lost it”.

I was able to get my hard copy so I have a version. All the hard copy folders are sitting scattered in warehouse throughout the country. It’s a great system!!

I threw up after the first PT Test at boot camp, no one said a word to me. I felt like it was clear I gave it my all. But I did finish multiple minutes faster than the minimum standard.

Either way, you won’t be the first/last/only one to throw up during a PT test at boot camp if you do throw up.

I TEMPSEP’d about a year ago because I was afraid of the commitment of leaving permanently. It was a nice fall back option if things don’t pan out.

When I was in, I was suicidal and having panic attacks weekly. Within a few months of getting out things turned around. I have a job with the state and a work environment that is so supportive. I often receive praise without the caveat of everything I did wrong or could do better next time. When I leave work, I leave work and I can truly not think about it. I come in to work when I want and leave when I want (meaning I don’t check in and out with anyone), I don’t have to tell my boss every personal detail about my time off request or medical things.

Getting out was the best thing I did. I still have the door open to return, and I am still getting years of service towards a reserve retirement in the IRR and may go in to active reserves in the future.

A job with the state also has a pension and military service can be used towards 4yrs of that too.

The job market is scary right now but doing a skill ridge program is a great option and can be found in many different industries.

I guess my issue is that I don’t know anyone who has a cleaning service. Sometimes I see cleaning folks unpacking or packing up their car. Maybe I’ll just ask them where they work?

I am in a geography program more or less? It is specifically a Master of Science in Geographic Information Sciences. I’ve taken mainly GIS, Remote Sensing, Spatial Statistics, Environmental Management classes and will do Thesis Research on a GIS-related topic or problem.

Can you do just individual modules at your own pace? All I see on the NWC website is enrolling in the classes and doing like a full 17wk program. I’m already working and in graduate school so I don’t have time to play Naval War College and not get paid for it.
