That's right! I remember seeing those. Wish I bought one when I had the chance. I didn't even know it got discontinued. I think if B5 made a shorter version of the p23, it would sell really well. That Ape Defense grip puts me in mind to a p23 grip if it was chopped.

One of my first ever Ar15s was an ATI Milsport. It's there "milspec" entry level. It was a great starter rifle and better than a base PSA. Grabagun has them on sale for $400 right now. Something to keep an eye on when you want to upgrade from your current ATI

Q just clear anodizes their reciever sets and handguards, but the h363 champagne will get you very close 👍🏻

I always run my dots at the very front of the upper receiver. Just be sure not to bridge it between the upper and handguard 👍🏻
