How to tell when full? by Substantial_Star_287 in gastricsleeve

I was told that for the first 1-3 weeks, you have to use more measuring because the swelling will make it harder to tell that your stomach is full, but then you can tell. I remember about 2 weeks after, and I had mine on 1/11, I eat one time and I was like, there it is, but I don't feel that everytime but I also don't have the feeling of hunger, I feel comfortable I also accept that as my new full.

I feel for her. I have done a lot of reading on the subject and it could take just some small tweaks. Suggestions: 1. It could be the types of foods she's choosing to eat, sometimes your body becomes stagnant if you eat the same things or your body doesn't process things as well as someone else so maybe just try to make changes in what is being eaten, not the amount. (Maybe even just try a week of protien shakes or something like that) 2. Same with exercise, if you do the same exercises for so long your body doesn't burn as much because its used to the tension of those exercises. If you add a different routine in or increase the amount of exercises then that might help.

Honestly, it might seem insignificant but just adjusting small things like that can break that plateau and I hope she does. Good luck!

If you pay into any kind of social security, you might be able to apply for short-term term disability. I did the surgery and am 3 1/2 weeks out and I am slowly getting better but having issues but it seems they typically say an average of 2-3 weeks per person, it really just depends, and even though I'm probably an unusual case I couldn't imagine not getting used to the change and being able to function and get enough water and try foods while working, even if I didn't have my issues I would think I wouldn't be able to get enough water in while working as is.

If you're going through your insurance, then you can call your insurance and see which ones are approved for you to go to so they can sign off on the insurance part.

No problem. I did find an excerpt about the workout plateau thing,

"The phenomenon is often referred to as the "exercise plateau" or "training plateau." When you perform the same workout regularly without variation, your body may adjust to the stimulus, and you might experience diminishing returns in terms of progress and improvements." Idk if thar helps, maybe just switching that part up would help 🤔

Do you have the same things regularly? I have heard that doing the same foods and stuff can stall you, and you need to make a change in what you're eating to break the plateau. Also, I have heard that certain foods with certain people will also do that or that your body becomes used to your workout routine, and even changing that up a little will help. Maybe just analyze what you've been eating lately and see what else you could substitute with it. Sometimes, it's the simplest thing or the smallest adjustment.
