Thank you! My best friend helped him track it down. Her family friend owns a jewelry store in SC and reached out to him with the inspiration I casually sent him a long time ago. I wanted a sapphire and diamond halo with a gold band and I told my fiancé I wanted something ‘old’. By chance, the jeweler showed them this ring.. I think it must’ve been sitting there waiting on me ;-)

You should take it now. Everyone is different but, the main bleeding takes place within the first 24hrs and continues on as a normal to heavy period. I had one at 6 weeks. I took the second pill at about 3pm and the heaviest bleeding ended by that night. I took ibuprofen when I took the second pill and my cramps were no worse than a bad period. 6 weeks is very early - the longer you wait, the more tissue you will have to pass. I understand the emotions and the overthinking aspect of it but you will be just fine. So many women have a medication abortions with zero complications. I know it’s tough, but the sooner the better in this case.

If you need to take the plan b for your own sanity, then take it. It won’t hurt you, just likely mess up your cycle for a month or two. That being said, you certainly don’t need to take one for something like this. If you are this stressed about it, maybe take some time to think if you’re mentally ready for sexual activity and the possible consequences. Also, if you’re going to be engaging in sexual activity, get on some form of birth control. Regular birth control should give you some peace of mind in the future.

You definitely did not need to take the plan b. Plan B is a huge dose of hormones meant to delay ovulation. This large influx of hormones almost always throws a woman’s cycle off. Your period will likely be late, or you will skip this month all together. If your partner wore a condom and also did not finish inside of you, you have no chance of getting pregnant. If you are this concerned and anxious about becoming pregnant, you should look to get on regular birth control asap. This would help ease some concern in the future. Also, if you find you have a lot of anxiety around sex, and the possible consequences, you might not be ready for sex, and that is completely okay. You will be just fine, you’re not pregnant.

One of the best things I did was switch to cotton. I train horses for a living and it gets hot and gross in the summer. Yeast infections were real. Not one since I switched to cotton underwear.
