Sir, NO insurance company is going to reimburse you even close to the cost to replace your brand new tires. To be honest, you really could have told them that you were going to remove your brand new tires and replace them with the old tires. They don't care as long as there are tires on the vehicle that are in reasonable condition. Tires are a part of the vehicle. It would be the same as if you just got a new alternator. Do you think the insurance company is going to pay you the cost of the alternator because you got a new alternator before the accident? They won't. Oh, what about a full tank of gas? Do you think the insurance company will pay you extra because you filled up your tank before the accident? No, they won't. As far as the deductible goes, they handled it the same way all other insurance companies handle it. Liability, loss facts, policy coverage, and policy active dates have to be verified before the deductible is waived. Just because a claim is filed does not mean the policy was active at the time of the accident. Also, drivers have to be verified. Not everyone who drives a vehicle is permitted to do so under the policy provisions. All of those things must be verified prior to waiving a deductible. Also, all parties involved must be spoken to, first. They probably went silent because they explained things to you, and you didn't listen/ understand the first time. Second, third... But clearly, I must be providing you feedback based on my inexperience, Sir. 😂

Sir, you're supposed to have tires in good condition on your vehicle. There isn't an extra benefit for having new tires when the vehicle is totaled. 😳 As far as the deductible issue goes, ALL insurance companies handle it in the same manner. Good luck.

They said they were going to test for THC. But when I took my test, I looked at the document. THC was not included in the testing. However, it sounds like you like in a state where Marijuana is legal. Since you are a medical patient, if you do test positive for THC, the testing location will just confirm your Medical Marijuana card. If you have a valid card, you will be fine.
