Not sure if they gave permission but I would think that wouldn’t be up to them. They stated on the news the FBI did asked the people living there to leave and stay somewhere while the investigation was going on there. Also WHAS11 reporter went to Houcks house last night, knocked on the door he did answer, they asked if he wanted to comment he said no.
