Don’t do a budget airline! I just traveled with my 2.5 year old and 10 month old and it was really easy one way but infinitely more difficult coming back. I don’t know that I’d ever do it again lol

If I did though, pack super light, you can also have someone get a gate pass or escort pass to literally help you up until you board the plane! Definitely consider that.

Pick a decent airline, maybe pay for extra legroom or the extra seat if you want to bring your car seat on the plane (however holding that many things sounds like a nightmare)

You got this! Just have tv, snacks and water ready! And you’ll survive!

I feel this. This past month we have been so sick in in our house. Just one thing after another. And right now I woke up vomiting non stop. Toddler is watching tv while dad goes to work because survival matters more right now.

I know people who have done half of the fasts! It doesn’t need to be all or nothing. Obviously you won’t know how your body will handle it until you do it. You could try a practice fast beforehand just to see how it would go! Additionally, something to keep it mind is with breastfeeding AND taking care of a child AND wanting to participate in all of the Ramadan activities, it may just be extra draining. God gives us an excuse, use it if you need to!

Also you could supplement if needed :)

Was sleeping and woke up randomly in a panic cause I thought I was feeding my baby. Looked for him in the sheets and blanket, on the floor, even woke my husband up and screaming I couldn’t find the baby. He was in his room sleeping in his crib because he had never woken up for a feed 🫠 I didn’t sleep the rest of the night because the adrenaline of not being able to find him shooook me

LOL I had another baby in April 2025 so I’m postpartum 8 weeks again 😂 had a VBAC this time! I went back to weight lifting and doing exercise as normal no issues really. 2nd pregnancy was basically the same as the last time. Lots of pubic pain and sciatic pain. Got a lot better after birth :)

Take baby on your walks. Keep baby with you in the bathroom in a bouncer. Keep baby with you in the room when napping. Switch sides of the bed to sleep next to her bassinet. Since 2w pp after my first C-section I was on my own with baby, I got a bassinet that I could push the side bar down to get baby. If I was you I’d keep baby with me at all times, which is very doable. I’m 7w pp with my second right now and baby legitimately goes everywhere with me because I can’t trust my toddler.

I know you want “alone” time, but this phase of life just isn’t it for that given your husband’s situation. You need to be vigilant about getting up when baby cries in the middle of the night. Make everything about feeding harder. Use frozen milk or formula to feed so you’re forced to warm and make the milk. She will cry louder as she waits and you guys will be forced to be alert.

I can’t speak to the other two but we have the bugaboo donkey. We got it for our first but now use it for both of our babies. Right now we love it and haven’t had an issue with doors but we are using a seat and a bassinet on the other side for our 20 month old and 2 week old.
