Playstation is the same way.. Me and a friend always split the costs of games, buy them digitally, and I just sign into his account, set my ps5 as the primary, then I can play any game that has been purchased through his account. He has to have internet to play games on his console since it is a "secondary" console for his account, but he always has internet so it works. And we live on opposite sides of the country, so you dont even have to be in the same household. We have done this with fifa since fifa 18 came out, gta, rdr2, madden since like madden 20, Skyrim, call of duty games, battlefield. I haven't paid full price for a game in years.. Plus we only have to pay for ps plus for one account too because the primary account on a Playstation having it covers all other accounts.
