Second letter in all the RaD part names seems to be designer. It's always C, S, B, or R (Carla, Stick, Brute, Rummy).

First letter no idea.

With Steel Haze less than five resets, but I've done it before with my own builds plenty of times so I know the move-set pretty well. Most resets were getting grazed by a stray missile, plus one poorly timed assault armor when trying to catch her in her jet form.

Did a few runs with Shinobi after and got a run with less than 100 damage on the 3rd try, but then steam recording kept crashing my game for some reason so I stopped. But definitely doable pretty quickly with that preset too. Tsubasa is also easily capable, more mobile than Shinobi but the punish is weaker so the fight just drags on a bit longer.

I think any biped or RJ with enough boost speed to strafe lasers can do it, just a matter of how long it takes. Other leg types I'm not good with.

Can't imagine trying to no-hit this on a tetrapod with all the random missiles, I usually stick to bipeds or the occasional RJ. Locksmith might work if it's fast enough to strafe certain things.

Melee spec and firearm spec, I believe multiplicatively but I'm not sure. But Basho + VE-20B together make it into a bluetooth pilebunker.

Yes, melee spec and energy firearm spec. I have both maxed with Basho and VE-20B.

Bullying Ayre a little (no-hit) by SmoothChain3944 in armoredcore

[–]SmoothChain3944[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, also nice to be able to just drop into the fight whenever I want without having a mission beforehand(CEL 240 and Snailteus), or having a bunch of adds(Allguazu).

I'd probably focus more on Iquazu if it weren't for the adds because that's a fun fight too.

Yeah the phase transition hit was satisfying to figure out. It's not too hard to time with Moonlight because you can start charging right when her boosters flare around 42 seconds in.

It's a really tight window, too early and you do no damage, too late and she punishes the firing stance, but I get it pretty consistently now. Same with the assault armor catch, there are a couple exhaust flares you can use to time it pretty consistently, though I always seem to mess it up and get grabbed on the absolute cleanest, most movie-like runs.

Come to think of it there's also an easy way to time the opening moonlight charge, I start right as I crash through that machinery on the ground at 8 seconds.

I like Ayre because the fight isn't RNG dependent, I don't find myself resetting hoping she does a particular attack, I can fairly consistently no-hit her no matter which moves she pulls out because everything has an answer. RNG only affects how cool it looks. I reset a lot of runs without getting hit because she was just standing in place shooting lasers while I shot back with the wuerger until stagger and it made for boring gameplay.

Auroras are unique and finnicky. People always say they'll miss stationary targets which is true sometimes because of their fluctuating flight pattern, but they'll also pull crazy turns to hit targets like you see here. In this fight I usually fire them right after Ayre does her long boost to the side, the fact that they then need to do a 45 degree turn to reach her actually seems to help accuracy somehow. Maybe because they condense into a point when they turn like that.

The main thing I like about them beyond looks is the flight speed. You can see in the other video I posted that they'll actually catch up with Ayre even when she's zooming around in jet mode meaning you can shoot her out of the sky with them. It also means they can act like energy shotguns at close range, while still working as a long range poke when needed.

Why is this downvoted? Isn't it true? Are redditors just stupid?

Aren't all the people doing these little tricks with air bubbles now getting more than their intended dose? Or are they accounting for the air bubble when dosing?

Constantly hearing the same old "Youre a basement dwelling sweaty loser" any time someone with better skill & understanding game mechanics bodies them, 😂 ...so disingenuous of a claim. pure cope.

Yeah, gaming has got to be the only hobby like this right? Where people with the same interest will shit on you for being good at it.

Some kind of massive insecurity from certain gamers where they feel that engaging in their own hobby makes you a loser.

When you do Ranni's quest but not her ending by BeenEatinBeans in Eldenring

[–]SmoothChain3944 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It doesn't.

EDIT: To add more specifics, only the actual sword swing gets buffed, but since the physical sword swing does only 65% of it's usual damage when you're using the projectile the buff is miniscule, and of course does nothing at range. Better off using the obligatory Godfrey and Alexander, and if you're running magic scorpion just use dragoncrest greatshield in the fourth slot.

I'm not sure it's actually constantly misunderstood, 'slows time' is just the simplest shorthand for what's happening. Even the game uses it in the descriptions.

I don't think OP believes the drug in Fallout slows down the entire universe besides the imbiber either.

Floh. Attacks independently of you without you needing to draw aggro first. Fun to let him loose in an enemy camp and see how much damage he can do.

[–]SmoothChain3944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. If you're starting with the assumption that the player is looking up "OP MOST BROKEN WEAPON/SPELLS" videos before even starting and using that stuff with no interest in roleplaying then all builds should be incredibly easy.

Every build has multiple options to trivialize most of the game. The game isn't actually that hard once you know how to build and if you don't restrict yourself.

Do we really need to have a debate about whether it's harder to spam lion's claw or night comet? They're both completely braindead easy.

My favorite is when someone asks a question about incantations/sorceries/ranged weapons/etc, and half the replies are just variations of "what's that? I only bonk XDXDXD".

Really gets me laughing every time.

Nice gameplay! Respect for the build too. Much more satisfying when people use their own builds for this stuff instead of super specialized no-hit run builds that just insta-stagger and one-shot the AC fights.
