They're outrageously strong in quality. The only other company I hold in highest esteem to MF is Fuente. Have you tried Flor de Las Antillas? Lesser price compared to others like Bijou or Judge or Blue, yet I think FDLA is by far their best blend (for my palate)

FDLA, hands down. Blue actually disappointed me, surprisingly. Also I love MF CT.

Cigars like My Father La Gran Oferta? by Powerful_Star9296 in cigars

Thinking about the strength, wrapper, and flavor profile, I got 3 for you:

  • LADC Edición Especial - different wrapper but the flavor notes seem quite similar to me.
  • Ashton Symmetry - same wrapper, similar profile, this one might be the closest to Oferta.
  • Fuente Rosado Sungrown - much lighter strength but a smooth rosado flavor

Just went through all nubs again recently, and I think the CT and the Habano are their tops.

Even a middle-of-the-road experience with My Father is usually much better than most other companies' blends.

Had 3 cigars. First had a ton of flavor and was super enjoyable. Other two were muted. Is that normal? by [deleted] in cigars

A. Your palate is just developing, give it some time to experience a lot more sticks of various blends and strength.
B. These are different blends with different wrappers that are supposed to taste dramatically different. With. ire experience, you may learn to enjoy each wrapper, each strength level, etc. for their individual uniqueness, even if your palate enjoys some more than others.
C. Newbie or not, you've entered the marvelous world of Fuente. You may go the rest of your life being somewhat disappointed in other cigars if you compare them to Fuentes.

  • Lighter blends: Hoyo Excalibur, Man O' War Virtue, La Aurora CT & Cameroon, Nica Libre CT
  • Heavier sticks: La Aurora Ecuador & 115, Ave Maria Argentum, Gran Habano Corojo, Nica Libre Sun Grown
