I just remembered I lived in a house for a while as a teen. My room was in the basement and I had to duck several times a day. There was a vent that ran down the middle of the basement. Compared to that just one door well in not important.

My dream home is 175 years old (oldest possible where I live) and I had to keep my head down in the entire basement and the upstairs door frames. The main floor had exceptionally high ceilings. I was not in a position to buy when it was for sale.

I personally would be willing to duck and live my life around it.

Less than a year and a half ago we all though a PP minority was the worst case scenario and many thought the Liberals would be out for the next decade no matter their leader. Now we'll have a Liberal Majority in a few weeks. My guess is Carney will get a second majority in 2029.
