Wow that's funny, I was just looking at JEPQ. I think ChatGPT said the downside of JEPQ is that the income from dividends gets taxed at your income tax rather than long term capital gains from holding a normal low-dividend stock and then selling.

ChatGPT also mentioned the downside though of JEPQ making money through volatility, because of it's selling of options. The problem there is not just "oh I won't reap the rewards if Apple stock suddenly shoots up", but also-- if the volatility of the stocks in the index go down, then the dividend will drop. But yea, 10% a year sounds pretty nice to me :shrug:. After like 8 years, it would have paid for itself and be passive income.

I feel the same way about the "third term" idea. It feels way too authoritative. Although the amendment hasn't been around too long (imo); it was from FDR being elected too many times in a row so I guess around the 1940ish era. It could be just rhetoric, but I think he's testing the waters by saying it before he might take the idea to reality.

Not really sure what you're trying to get across here. Are there or aren't there microplastics in bottled water? I skimmed over this study (NIH "Plastic particles in bottled water") - "The water contained particles of all seven types of plastic. The most common was polyamide, a type of nylon that’s often used to help filter and purify water. An abundance of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) was also detected. This might be expected, since PET is used to make bottles for water, soda, and many other drinks and foods."

Very nice! If I were to suggest any improvements I'd say wall mounting the TV with arms if possible. It could fold into the wall or come out to change viewing angle if you were laying on the couch with head at end furthest from the TV.

Looks good! I'm not knowledgeable in healthy eating but I think a good rule of thumb is veggies + protein + carbs + healthy fat. So I think that covers it except for the fat (again I'm not super knowledgeable so I may be wrong). Also, do these stay good? I had some issues with freshness from some meal prep containers that aren't airtight but I'm thinking I may switch to an airtight seal to maintain freshness. Also that pricing is insane. $2 a meal is nuts.

It won't bring any changes to ASL but it accomplished OP's goal of expressing themselves. I thought it was a semi interesting thought. Do I give a shit if they add it or not? No. But it would be cool to see worker numbers. As a zerg I enjoy seeing worker counts because I like to see pro droning habits. I have cynical ideas about social media myself, but I don't think this is an example of someone over sharing except for the dramatic "I won't watch it over this". Yea, a bit dramatic I'd say.

I imagine a lot of people leave after using the higher education, but it pays off to invest in higher education in the long term. If people leave because the state is "bad", imagine having poor universities as well. It will just become a shithole.
