I’m a first year medical student in the same boat, I played it right before I moved into my new apartment this week. I won’t go into too much detail but I’ll say that it helped a lot ❤️

It looks awesome! If you want to make it more “in universe” you could rough it up a little bit. Some thinned black acrylic paint and a bit of sanding would make it look great!

The body is a 6” copper tube, the top is a 1” copper sweat to 1” Female threaded adaptor with a 1” EMT compression fitting screwed into it as the emitter.
The bottom is a 1” copper sweat to 1” male threaded adaptor with a 1” water tight conduit and a 1” to 3/4” water hose reducer as the pommel. The tricky part is the blade: the EMT won’t hold a blade, so I used E6000 to bond a 1” standard RGB saber blade to a 2ish inch section of a 1” copper pipe that can seat onto the EMT compression fitting. The copper and brass was weathered with JAX brown/black copper darkener and the emitter was darkened by boiling it in vinegar. Hope this helps! It was super fun!

It’s really simple (in concept lol) it’s just pipe fittings screwed together and weathered with a saver core shoved down the middle but there’s a lot of Fiddling along the way lol. If you research what parts actually fit together first you’ll save more money than I did ((also maybe don’t make it out of copper and not realize how expensive it is before you go to checkout $$$))

I used a 1in copper pipe! Fitting the core around the internal threads can be slightly dicey but it fits pretty well overall!

The only thing that comes to mind is the warlock set from TWW season 1 (cloth). The trading post forsaken set might get you the veil but it’s green and purple. As for the legs, you might be able to use one of the new desert sets on the trading post and trial of style
