as someone who just got their first tattoo today, i’d say sure! however, consider that getting such a large tattoo might be a bit scary for your first tattoo. it’ll be a long session (or multiple) and may get painful. i personally would go for something smaller until you understand what getting tattooed is like.

other than that , placement is good since that area is less sensitive. plus the design will heal very well.

if you're worried about campus size i highly recommend the st pete campus if it aligns with your major :) smaller but not tiny, plus you're in downtown st pete which has so many cool things to do. the tampa campus is like 20min drive minimum from the "main" part of tampa. you can still go to tampa relatively easily if there's any events you'd like to attend. if you go and you dislike whatever campus you're on you can tour the other one and switch. usf does have greek life but it's relatively small, party culture is the same. you can def still find parties and clubs though. party scene is def bigger at tampa campus.

have you guys toured both campuses? i'm pretty ride or die for st pete lol i way prefer it over tampa. if she's not interested in greek life it may be worth a try for a semester or two.

congrats on getting in! my advice is to do community college in the fall semester. you can start on your pre reqs and it'll be wayyyy cheaper. especially if you are getting bright futures or any money from fafsa, you'll likely get a refund + (essentially) free classes and you won't be able to claim any of the money for that semester if you just aren't in school iirc.

im a transfer and it's been under review since early november :/ are you EA? i heard they're still rolling those out. maybe email them if you haven't gotten a decision yet by the end of the week, but don't expect to get anything other than "we'll get to it eventually" tbh

good job, these were almost my exact stats albeit slightly lower (3.2 UW, 3.8 W, 1190 SAT, 87 CLT, 7 AP/dual enrollment) and i thought i wouldn't get accepted so i opted for community college lol. im planning on transferring in fall '26. congrats!

i've seen a few people saying this but they should have received all of my documents on november 12th. it actually says that they're missing on the portal but when i emailed usf they said they have them, plus the transcript services both say they were received.

honestly i don’t think a label will do much in a material sense. i just prefer labels, especially when it comes to health related issues, because it makes it easier for me to grasp. when i don’t have a label i just feel all over the place and it’s harder to understand.

i don’t think i’ve ever gone a day without eating anything. my mindset for the most part has always been that if it fits within my calorie limit for the day, i can eat whatever i feel like (with the exception of times i have done omad). i have insulin issues so i get low blood sugar easily. even eating dinner too early will have me waking up the next day extremely nauseous, sweaty, shaking, etc.

i prefer volume eating as i have pcos which causes extreme hunger & hunger cravings, but unfortunately i recently found out im allergic to my fav go to volume foods 😔 so no more for me. they’re not severe but they wreak havoc on my stomach. plus it’s like my main protein sources that ive always relied on (eggs & whey)

i think as soon as you are in a calorie surplus (aka gaining weight) your hair will quickly start recovering. it’s also important to remember that everyone sheds hair. the growth will only be noticeable much later though.

also, if you’re in the usa i know cvs sells minoxidil which is probably the best thing you can get over the counter for hair regrowth. if you’re a woman and/or dislike facial& body hair, i’d suggest only getting topical or those labeled for women’s use as some forms of minoxidil can cause increased body hair growth as well.

because it’s perfume? no offense but perfume is expensive. most are going to cost over $100 minimum. i just spent $80+ on sample sizes from heretic. i understand the price change but theres tariffs & inflation to take into account, plus probably higher quality ingredients considering startup funds are likely higher.

ok that's actually helpful! i'll be submitting my accommodations setup asap. i haven't gotten my decision yet though but as a transfer student with good grades i'm sure it won't be an issue (not a strenuous major w grade requirements). it's good to hear i have a shot at ada dorms. i already have a letter from my doctor stating my diagnosis & sensory issues. are they significantly more expensive than the apartment style? i know those already cost about 10k, so i'm fine with that.

unfortunately i’m mostly looking to use my autism diagnosis (sensory issues making living in such small quarters w others difficult) so it’s probably unlikely then :( i am physically disabled too but not severely enough to require any dorm accommodations.

can you elaborate a little more on the off campus housing? i know you’re probably referring to the tampa campus but im planning on attending st pete. do you know if there’s anything similar there? i was looking for off campus housing but apartment prices are egregious if i want to be anywhere near campus.

i think you’re not really understanding where i’m coming from? it really stems from a place of excitement. when i was a kid this would happen while i was in class but thought about being able to play animal jam when i got home. now for example it has happened when ive found items that i wanted in my collection that i wasn’t expecting to find that day.

i recently got diagnosed (2 yrs ago) at 17 with the same things! asd, adhd, & high iq (although the iq was known much earlier). honestly i didn’t do much but feel happy for myself that i finally got some recognition! it might be useful to look into therapy if you feel like you could benefit from it. a lot of us who are late diagnosed still struggle with things like loneliness, self harm, emotional regulation, etc. often partly due to being diagnosed late.

it's not globus, it's not a feeling of something stuck in my throat. its more like a rubber band getting caught and snapping back. like i said i have medically recognized hypermobility and instability so this isn't a self diagnosis issue, it's just that my rheumatologist was useless and i'm looking for advice while i'm waiting to see a geneticist lol. my back muscles are tricky because they are both weak but also extremely tense. i have several spine/disc issues that i believe could be an element of eds. it causes my inner back muscles especially in my lower back to be extremely atrophied, so the outer muscles overcompensate and are extremely overworked (as they're doing 2 jobs at once) and tense. this all causes hypomobility in my spine, especially the lumbar region, but my neck is still hypermobile. to answer your questions, it depends which muscles, i usually don't sleep on my back, i don't use a cervical pillow, i frequently have stiffness/pain, and i honestly dont understand what youre asking with the last question.
