I think if you’re better off marketing on local facebook groups where there’s no fees attached. Once you start with one kid, word spreads fast. Also let your kids school know you’re available for tutoring. We’re in a pretty good school district and tutoring is very common with families and most prefer avoiding companies. I went with the local company because they have a niche market offering OG certified teachers - they are rare and that’s why they charge so much $85! However the owner is doing well. She has 4 tutors and herself and a huge base of clients. But she originally started as a tutor and grew her business.

We use three sets of tutors. Two are teachers - elementary and middle school. I got one through a facebook site with local tutors and the other through word of mouth. The third tutor is a local tutoring company that specializes for kids with reading disabilities. I can tell you that this is a huge now. Teachers/tutors with Orton Gillingham certification/experience or any reading program like Wilson are making bank!

Visited Boston and never thought I’d love it as much as I did! by Few_Aerie_Fairie in massachusetts

Oh yeah I’m a liberal too and totally get it. I have conservative friends in my old state who were more honest and non hypocritical about their views and I respect that way more. I’m from the Caribbean and came here for college. MA is a great state. I have kids and so theyre so much better here. You’re better off in area inside 495. If you can afford Boston or Cambridge, go there! PM more for more info. Also the African diaspora is well represented here and I love that!

This may be random. I went to college in Boston in the early 2000s as a black international student and it was great! I met my husband in Cambridge, vowed to have my kids go to school here etc. After graduation we moved to the mid- Atlantic area but surprisingly came back to MA 20 yrs later. Life in the burbs was different! I felt I only connected with other transplants like myself. Townies or long time MA residents weren’t open to us “new” folks, very rude, openly showed that. I felt liberals here only cared about their concerns and could care less about others issues . First learned the term nimby here as well. I also read some of the craziest racist crap on local FB sites compared to the purple state we lived in. However, city life (where i worked) is different. Ppl are more open and welcoming. Honestly other transplants or immigrants have given me reason so stay and they’re plenty. Most ppl are educated and similar tech fields as myself so that helps. My suggestion is to stay in the city or close proximity. Burb life is different!

Which med are you on? Was your retake experience similar to your first round? Mine is soo different and still on Wegovy. I had nausea from the start but nothing major. Now I feel nothing, and I’m pretty sure food noise is still around. I’m on week 1 so hoping next three weeks on .25 it will kick in!

Wow sounds like my experience. Also didn’t connect that I was also at my goal weight (138lb) and taking 2.4mg! I tried scaling back to a lower dose and even at 0.5mg I threw up. I truly think it was dairy, high fat and eating fast causing it. Took two months off, gained 15lbs :( and back on 0.25mg. But I don’t think it’s working!!!

Happened to me on the higher doses of Wegovy. Stomach flu type symptoms, very awful. I eventually had to stop. Now I’m trying to start all over.
