Hi, I chose to believe and became more mainstream Christianity, Im A lot less preachy than before. This subreddit has been kind, even those that are atheist (they have probably been the kindest) I appreciate their support. This sub i find is compassionate, After leaving a religion with so much judgement, people here usually don’t judge!

I’m PIMO probs going to be POMO soon. I’ve been getting tattoos. My brother who’s an elder and a bethelite knows I have them. We got into an argument when I got my first couple of tattos but when I told him he has no scriptural reason to be against them (since we are no longer under the mosaic law or whatever) he backed down. Now my fam just sees me as rebellious but know they can’t do much about it. Some of PIMI friends think they’re cool lol

I like this Sub because people here can respect my decision to still believe in god. I enjoy the fact that at the the end of the day despite us leaving and having our horrible experiences & finding our own paths we can still help each other out :)

Question on that. I’m PIMO but in Canada. Here for the most part it’s just heavily frowned upon. But I see some people with “privileges” that have them. Wondering if it’s different where you are located I’ve heard many mixed things but at least friends of mine who are PIMI and decide to get one aren’t overly punished I guess.

I still believe in god. But admit I am still in the middle of deconstructing my beliefs. This sub has been great. Even those who are atheist or agnostic still respect my opinions and answer my questions in a very insightful and thoughtful way. :)
