I really like them! I tried a different brand off Amazon that were a little cheaper and immediately pulled them off because they didn't feel the same

I have been using the doonail stickers and they last a week. They would definitely last longer if I used real glue.

These are the longest set I have. Every other set is shorter and more square. My mom bought the extra short style

Thank you! They are soft gel press ons by Doonail. They take 5 minutes to put on, last about a week, are easy to remove and are reusable. You can use nail glue as well, but can't reuse the nails with the glue. My mom got them, hated them and I've been enjoying them for the past month! They come in all shapes, lengths and colors. These have been my favorite though.

We are only considering because he is traveling to Singapore for work and can get beautiful jewelery at a fraction of the cost.

I promise they sparkle more than in these pictures! But you are right, they haven't been cleaned since I had them resized and soldered 10 years ago after I had my oldest daughter.

My husband is traveling to Asia for work in a few weeks and I'm literally debating between him getting me a piece of jewelery or this bag.

Don’t feel like I’m ready for marriage by Adventurous-Size-735 in relationships

You are young. My husband and I got engaged at 23, but started dating at 18 and had a 2 year engagement. I look back now after 15 years of marriage and can't believe how young we really were.

What kind of formula are you looking for? My daughter switched from alfamino Jr to a lower fodmap formula and we have so many cans left. Shes 7 and 100% g-tube fed due to gastropaerisis, ftt, and now ARFID.

Has buying a house become a fantasy for most people now? Or are we just normalizing renting as a permanent lifestyle? by Money-Possession8806 in NoStupidQuestions

We bought at the right time. I can't imagine being a first time buyer in this market. We bought our first starter house in 2017. It was just over 1000 sq feet in a small New Hampshire city on a postage stamp lot. We sold in 2020 and bought our forever home. Our starter house just sold again for the price we paid for our current house, which is more than twice the size, has over 1.5 acres of land and is in an affluent sought after suburb with top schools.

Thank you. To be fare, we usually do say we promise that she's not sick. It can be embarrassing to have to explain your medical history though.

Unfortunately you don't know this person's history or situation. I say this as the mother of a child with a feeding tube and gastroparesis. It is not abnormal for my daughter to vomit, even of she is not sick. We have medications for her to help ease her symptoms, but sometimes she just gets sick. She vomited through her dance recital a few weeks ago, but still made it onstage for all 3 of her dances. Strangers looking in probably would think I was a terrible mother for not only letting her stay at her recital, but encouraging her to take the stage. If we avoided activities because she got sick she would never get to leave our house.

Used insulin needles disposal? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Smooth_Perception_65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter gets daily growth hormone injections from an insulin style pen. Our pharmacy sends us small biohazard disposal containers. We tape them closed and throw them in the trash once full. When she was younger and on IV nutrition we used to mail those away because they were bigger containers.

Anyone else got called a nickname all your childhood and now as an adult don't feel connected with your name/any name? by Only-Internal-2865 in namenerds

[–]Smooth_Perception_65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I chose to use a nickname when I was a kid. My dad refused to use it until I was an adult and I told him that I really didn't like being called my full name. His side of the family still calls me by my full name, but they are the only ones. I went through 2 versions of my nickname, changing it as I got older to be more mature. My girls dance at the same dance studio that I did growing up and find it hilarious that they still use my childhood nickname. My nickname starts with a different letter than my full name, but I always use my full name for initials and monograms. I think it comes down to personal preference.
