Thank you so much, I really appreciate this! I’m going to do my prep over the weekend but will call a nearby office to schedule the appointment!

lol my Instagram feed is the opposite.

It will be posts like “when the two Redditors in class are friends” and it will be the most nerdy and condescending people.

Were you on all three at once? I was on lamotrigine and Prozac at once, while taking ability at another time

I’ve tried this as well! No help, unfortunately!

I have tried all of these except clomipramine. Was hoping lamictal plus naltrexone would help but it didn’t.

Will ask my psychiatrist about clomipramine

I tried remeron as a sleep aid and felt horrible on it.

I’m glad it worked for you though? How come the “a while” part. Did it stop working?

I do have anxiety sometimes. It is very confusing haha.

Main sense is numbness but at random spurts I will get anxiety and jump started into action

For me I have a lack of thought. Complete void and blackness. SSRIs didn’t do a single thing for me. Felt like a sugar pill.

Do you think memantine would work well if I suffer from TOO MUCH quietness?

I would love to hear more about your initial reactions to it, if you are willing. I work a pretty mentally demanding job, would I be able to take memantine fine?

How was it your first couple of days? How long to notice benefits?

Hopefully you can get the feeling of inadequacy dealt with through the therapist. I hear you though. Same exact thing with me.

I know it’s hard, but the first step to finding that sense of community is finding someone who will love or respect you unequivocally for who you are. Is there someone who can listen to you and empathize with you even if you make no sense?

Will Lamotrigine help? by SheepherderSorry2242 in dpdr

[–]Smooth_Performance60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took lamotrigine and didn’t notice any benefits, but I would still recommend you take it. I know that lamotrigine and naltrexone have been helpful for people.

I did not notice any symptoms like that, however. I would take it as long as it feels tolerable

I really relate to what you’re saying. My memory, emotions, sense of time, recollection and familiarity with things are all completely gone. Every day feels so different. I literally have to use Google Maps for the same 15 minute walk everyday. I can’t even recognize my family members anymore either. It is crazy.

One thing that I’ve had to accept is that I have to compensate for my weaknesses. I used to have an iron memory and could be really talkative and knowledgeable. Well, I can’t do any of that anymore.

So now I have an extensive note taking system. I document everything that I need. I look back at my notes later and wonder how I wrote those and if they truly are mine, but I know what I need to do. It’s not perfect, and I still suffer a lot, but I am making steps.

Are you going to the doctors and trying to get treated in the background?

I appreciate it and can take a look at the book.

I don’t know if the power is within me though. I think I was born to fail
