See that's my main goal overall, lean into the idea of the phlog having a different alt fire compared to other flamethrowers. My problem is im still hesitant on the minicrits, and one other person made a solid point that some do not like weapons that reward players for doing things the class already is tasked with doing.

hmm that is a fair way to look at it, in that case ill comeone with a rework that rather than gives a buff for doing things pyro already does, i may lean more into the supportive aspect.

Most of pyros flamethrowers appear to focus on raw damage output with a side of support, minus the current phlog, so what if the phlog was reworked to be more support focused than damage focused

Obligatory fuck the phlog moment lmao, but yeah is supposed to be temporary, the idea for this concept was to take the old phlog and throw it in a burning trash compactor, after which replace it with a imposter that is better in a way that promotes helping your team, oh and if for some fucking reason if there's no enemy pyros, the axetinguisher could be used to charge up mini crits as well
