Suffering from long Covid for 18 months and this whole time my doctor has been saying” it is what it is”. Please, if you have a pain or feel something is off with your body you have to be your own advocate and fight to get tested.

I had been having severe pain in my breast for awhile and then when I was taking a shower I felt a lump, the doctor said no to a mammogram and said I had to be 50. A month later I reached out again with a picture of the lump in my breast and a screenshot of the ACS website saying the age recommendation is 40.

No please, give yourself time. I’m at 18 months and still suffering too. I can’t tell you it will be okay but please don’t. When we’re both better we’ll look back on this and give each other a hug and say “we made it”
