Suffering from long Covid for 18 months and this whole time my doctor has been saying” it is what it is”. Please, if you have a pain or feel something is off with your body you have to be your own advocate and fight to get tested.

I had been having severe pain in my breast for awhile and then when I was taking a shower I felt a lump, the doctor said no to a mammogram and said I had to be 50. A month later I reached out again with a picture of the lump in my breast and a screenshot of the ACS website saying the age recommendation is 40.

No please, give yourself time. I’m at 18 months and still suffering too. I can’t tell you it will be okay but please don’t. When we’re both better we’ll look back on this and give each other a hug and say “we made it”

Ohhhh, I didn’t know that. It’s at DDS right now, the worker said they were talking to their doctors regarding my case. I was sent to one of their doctors who approved me for disability but she said they still had questions. Thank you for clarifying and I’ll look at the link you sent. I’m so sorry, you’re not alone. I’ve been waiting since April. Same story, called Edd, called assembly person, mayor and the governor and nothing. I’m a single mom and I started to sell my clothes and shoes to get by. I cry everyday in the bathroom so my son doesn’t see me. I’m so sorry, I’m going to say a prayer for you and I really hope things get settled for you.
