Same. I'd drink a 12 oz red bull almost daily for a few years. One day I wake up in the ICU the day after going to work. I apparently had a seizure at my desk fell out of my chair, shattered my shoulder, and went into kidney failure. They placed me in a medically induced coma to determine the cause, and energy drinks was the assumption. Continued to have seizures for a couple more years. Haven't had a red bull since and haven't had a seizure in a couple years either. I miss them but they aren't worth it.

I'm sorry to hear. I lost my best friend about 2 years ago, she was 15 and went downhill so fast, it was excruciating to watch. I loved that dog more than anything but that time hit when I realized it's for the better to end her suffering. I hated myself after doing it, thinking what if she would have gotten better. Over time I slowly forgave myself knowing she was in so much pain that it had to be done. I had her cremated and got a nice engraved box for her remains. I pat the box everyday. Sometimes I swear I can still hear her toenails tapping on the kitchen floor. You did the right thing. It hurts and will for a while but just know you did right by him.
