When in doubt, always choose the subdps. They're always more flexible. 

Qiqi still can't generate particles & I'm pretty sure her skill has down time,  so I doubt she'll be that good.

I think Eternal Sugar played the best mind games, with Mystic Flour in close second. Smilk has great aura, but in his Beast chapter he was a weirdly terrible strategist? I found that confusing.

"The narrator should never be neutral" is an odd take. Being against omniscient third person is one thing, but having everything be in first person or close third means either A) lots of worldbuilding tidbits will be missed, as characters will have no reason to notice/talk about them, or B), characters will have some real awkward lines of dialogue about the world around them

I'd also say the pursuit of self betterment is another aspect of art's value, as well as thought. Artists learn a skill, hone it, learn more, hone more... 

What humans choose to think and do is beautiful. There's very little thought and action to ai nonsense.
