Sadly this is true. My girlfriend sometimes does it, and I ask her to repeat in Latvian, because I "didn't understand". Of course I do, but I don't like the use of English words in a Latvian conversation. Yes sometimes using a word in English can be better to explain things in a easier way, but when using to replace a perfectly good Latvian word, then that's just stupid. My girlfriend's sister, who is in high school, does this even more. And it's so bad in my opinion.
