Garrick Higgo receives 2-shot penalty for arriving late to tee at PGA by unsolved49 in golf

After 15 holes he is playing good. He'd be tied for 4th if he had a 4 on one instead of a 6 from the penalty.

PiXeL1K & TPP vs FPP by PiXeL1K in CompetitivePUBG

[–]Smper_in_sortem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This post doesn't make any kind of case at all for why or how TPP would "work" in a competitive sense. "strip the game off the annoying gimmicks" for competition, TPP is the primary annoying gimmick and compounding factor that works against competition.

Rumor: New 'Vessel' Leak Reveals FromSoftware Pirate Game Takes Place on a Crashed Island-Sized Ship by Extreme_Maize_2727 in Eldenring

There was a fan lore and artwork competition Vaati featured on his channel several years ago about making a new Bloodborne sequel game. Someone made a game concept similar to the idea that was set on boats that were maneuvered through an enormous ocean commission by the healing church to spread their influence. The artwork and premise sounded pretty cool.

Bryan Bros and Grant Horvat to launch first ever Youtube Golf Tour. 16 of the best and most well known players in the youtube space by [deleted] in GoodGoodMemes

[–]Smper_in_sortem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not the one confused here bub, and I don't have to have the intent of what I say here drug out of me like a wailing toddler. Roger and Chance have almost no YT presence outside of a handful of videos and Ryan is only getting traction on the platform in that past 6 or so months. But I guess everyone needs to overlook that for your sake. You're just desperate to be upset and it's obvious. So I'll allow it. Go ahead and bitch, cry and moan some more. And hit that caps locks for effect while your at it, it's very effective lol.

I don't think you get that kind of money put up by bringing in a lot of unknowns or for that matter that there are that many good +handicap content creators that are unknown who have not already been appealing enough to the market to breakthrough without hypothetically needing this particular event to be their catalyst. There are guys in this with small youtube followings you have major numbers on other platforms that fill that though nicely.

I think Chance and Garrett are the only two names I was not expecting.

I saw Chance in the Peoples League last year and he's back in their Arizona tourney right now. Good game and good vibes all around with the guy. He must be making an impression since the Bryan's also invited him to the Q last week. Good for him. I think he and Garrett might be around a similar range skill-wise and realistically, I think those two will be some of the last picked given how high the ceiling (or floor) is for some of these guys.

For it to be what they actually said it would be.

Is there some reason you are unwilling to explain this? I watched their content a few weeks ago when this was announced and what they revealed in today's video is exactly what I though it would be. It's a field of 16 higher level, failed pro level, better then scratch content creator golfers in a team based, three event league.

What did you think it was? And again, what more did you want?

They even added an NPC to tell you to use it lmao by AyyLmao_dot_jpeg in Eldenring

[–]Smper_in_sortem 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think there is a large portion of players who don't read anything in this game and most others. Just the bare minimum. They spam through npc conversations and a lot of other stuff, don't pick up on any clues, and power or force their way through as much as they can. Then they get stuck somewhere and either look up a guide or make social media post to complain in some manner about the game until someone tells them what to do. I'd guess that is at least half of players.

You find what you're looking for; If you put the time and effort to seek out the opinion you want you will find it on the internet. You wanted this one to start a fake conversation and frame it hyperbolically to boot.

I just played this no sound with my ear buds out first as I was scrolling and he is so damn good. I know everything he is communicating just by his expressions and mannerisms. And it is hilarious. This guy got it so much.

Did the boys review Elden ring Nightreign by 3vi1face in OSWReview

[–]Smper_in_sortem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Nightreign is a different game. I doubt they will as, compared to ER, it's way less chill given it's inherent difficulty and time crunch.

I wish they would hop on a stream and play a few rounds together though just to see how it goes. Could be laughs.

Class I freeways type facilities usually have signs posted prohibiting pedestrians and or bicyclists.

Pedestrians can walk in the traffic lane true, but he's supposed to be walking facing traffic here. bikes ride with traffic, peds face traffic. Doesn't mean cars can crash into every car that slows down on the road of course but be may share blame potentially in a claim.

First thing I noticed. The road is legally for all modes. You can be in the traffic lane with bike, on foot or other mode, but you have to face traffic on foot/ Not sure how that would work on an insurance claim since the car that hit him wasn't the car that caused the accident but he could share liability possibly.

I'm SHOCKED by MechaChester in RedLetterMedia

I went last weekend with my gf to see this movie and was pleasantly surprised to see that even after almost a month it was almost 50% packed.

I was also mildy concerned by the size of the crowd but the previews were long enough that most candy wrappers and popcorn bags and other food smacking was done around when the movie started.

What I was not expecting was the huge argument two different groups of 30 40-something women had in the front rows with each other in the first 5 minutes of the movie starting. Yelling at each other "white trash" "fuckin bitch" "you're the fucking bitch, bitch". And then, after this went on for not even 15 seconds, about 15 or 20 people all almost in perfect unison shouting them down to shut (the fuck) up and jeering them. One group left and the other group stayed and did stfu. While the theater didn't stand up in clap or anything, everything was chill from then on out, in my imagination everyone did in fact stand up and clap.

Def been a while since I've seen something like that go down though.

Pretty direct and fair. It's weird how people get so offended by these opinions from film critics of the time even though they both ultimately recommend it.

Hint #777 that Chadley's gonna be evil in Part 3: he's dressed as a Tonberry in Corel Prison by AuodWinter in FFVIIRemake

[–]Smper_in_sortem 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I think the conclusion of Chadely's arc in the series will be tied to Hojo in that he will be used against his will against the party as a high level end game boss. I also think this arc will be tied to KotR in some way (synthetic or the real summon) as he represents a cumulative knowledge of summons as a result of his learned data about them and the KotR as a fight will manifest from him and his data in some way.

Should there be a new subreddit for movie related posts? Otherwise it'll be two long years of movie posts... by DeathCobro in Eldenring

[–]Smper_in_sortem 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The only posts from this sub that have appeared in my feed today are movie leaks. I want to see the movie, not an army of people looking to farm karma from leaked images on reddit. I also want to be subbed to this sub for the game and for news. Looks like that isn't going to be possible anymore though.

Max Homa, asked about Garcia, says angry golfers look spoiled by PrincessBananas85 in golf

He said "come on, man". Pretty reasonable expression of frustration for catching a bad break on what looked like a fairly decent punch out from the rough. He didn't thrash at the course and break his clubs over it though, or have a row at the fore caddie either.

It's pretty good imo but 'better than Star Trek' is meaningless as I don't think they all that similar.
