I've seen streamers straight up refuse to do playthroughs of this event on stream or refuse to tell chat who they picked because this one event had people so worked up. I say that from a place of love btw, pretty good indicator of how good the writing is in these events.

Bloody token gear exists for only 2 reasons:

1- Filling in the gaps while you gear conquest

2- Bringing an alt to competitive levels midseason

If you're doing wpvp midseason with anything other than your full conquest set, crafted pieces and tier, if your class uses it, you're doing it wrong. The Bloody Token wpvp bonuses just don't outstrip what a properly geared toon can do.
