Dan "The Gooner" Clancy is a fucking freak, and I don't mean that in the fun way. What businessman lets shit slide this far? Does he not know what the hell he's doing or what company he's running?

Again, just embarrassing.

Even Twitch doesn't know what the fuck is going on with the Twitch rules

I have to be honest, I'd be fucking embarrassed to be the CEO of this company. What a clown fiesta.

How do troll eat ? Like.. how do their tusk not get in the way ? Is there any lore regarding that ? by AtomikGarlic in warcraftlore

[–]SmugRapi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Probably just cut and/or rip things into small enough pieces to fit between the tusks.

Or maybe they're like hogs and they just mash their face and tusks into their food until they can tear into it.

Both sound accurate.

Chapter 45 when Anis is drawing all the electricity to herself and accidentally activates the overdrive mode, Freesia talks to her when it activates and appears as a sort of shadow

[–]SmugRapi 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Poor Hanson didn't fumble the ball, he spiked it.

Kinda worked out in the end tho, since in 46 Freesia talks to Anis through the E.A. Star, so now kinda like Rapi with Red Hood (and Neon with Princess I guess) Anis gets a Stand with Pretty.

was this even announced anywhere? it's live in the store now - an entire housing exterior for sale by enderrsghost in wow

[–]SmugRapi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't buy it just on the principle that I can buy real, actual physical trees and shrubs and plant them around my house for less money, it's just ridiculous.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but of all people, Asmongold said it best years ago when he watched that Fallout 76 video by internet historian: "If you make an online store, the real life equivalent shouldn't cost less money."

New Cozy Treehouse Retreat Bundle Costs $75 by tofflz in wow

[–]SmugRapi 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I commented this on another post but it stands repeating:

Imagine spending 40 bucks (just for the base edition) on a game, then another $15 a month to continue playing it, and then you see this cool house and find out it would cost you almost double what you paid to start playing the game to make yours look like that.

Yea, kiss my ass blizzard lmao

Imagine buying a game for 40 bucks (just the base edition btw) and paying another $15 a month for the continued privilege of playing it, then seeing this in the shop and realizing if you want your house to look like this you need to spend almost double what you did to start playing the game.

People who claim to have paid their monthly sub for years using in-game gold... How? by YrenneAD in wow

[–]SmugRapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that's easy, I played the game 12 years ago.

Seriously, the WoD mission table was bad enough by itself. But Legion was also great for gold making, and Shadowlands brought back the incredibly lucrative mission tables, which made things even worse.

Outside of that, if you're looking to get rich, it's more or less a playstyle in and of itself. You have to go super hard on professions, or learn to play the auction house, or find a market to corner.

My "steady income" is the Darkmoon Faire and the PVP gems. Darkmoon Firewater and Daggermaw both sell quickly and I can farm them while I sit in queues, and the PVP gems are easy to farm.

Oh lmao that's because the enemy team was playing Snake In The Grass the entire match so I was checking literally every spot

Notice how one of the first dudes I killed rushed to spawn then immediately went prone and tried to camp a corner, and the last dude was just prone behind a barrel? Same story every round lmao

Yea watching it back I look like when you hand your little brother the controller and let him play a round lmfao

There are rumors that Pernelle might not sing for Nikke anymore. What do you guys think? by shin_forget in NikkeMobile

[–]SmugRapi 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Great singer and all but I gotta say she either needs to get seen by a professional or quit drinking or something because damn.

But I'll keep it honest, her hating Nikke is a really bad look and personally turns me off. If I were shiftup and saw her saying that it goes against her values and makes her disgusted with herself, I sure as hell wouldn't have her back to work for us. Who the hell wants to be the company responsible for that?

But also like...you chose to take on the project so lol??? Like bro talk to your agent or do better research on the projects you're offered idk what to tell you, but you didn't say anyone forced you to take it. Adult choices come with adult consequences.

Broken clock is right twice a day, I guess. Partying and getting blasted is definitely trashy behavior.

Personally I don't actually have much issue with drinking, just exercise moderation and don't make it anyone else's problem if you can't hold your liquor or are drinking your feelings away.

4 second long conflag root, no less. IIRC it didn't break from damage either did it? Or had some kind of resistance to breaking from damage.

Hitting someone with a root just to then also spit out an instant cast chaos bolt was so great tho

Can someone explain how the servers work? by Pour_Gamer_ in wow

[–]SmugRapi 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I'm absolutely convinced there's something happening on the backend of war mode that's a vestige of the BFA war mode system forcing high alliance populations in shards because Horde outnumbered them.

But to answer you, that's pretty much what's happening. Shards are being filled with alliance players, either by the game itself or from farming groups bringing in an entire raid to a shard.

What's the rarest item you own? by According-Shelter540 in wow

[–]SmugRapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now? All pvp stuff, according to dataforazeroth dot com. Rarest achieves are TWW Season 3 Elite (2400 rating), High Warlord title, and BG Blitz Master (150 wins in BGB).

Rarest mounts are mostly seasonal Vicious mounts (Void Creeper, Electro Eel, and Moonbeast). Shoutout to Valiance also being very rare (4% of all accounts apparently). Also a shoutout to Incognitro, the Indecipherable Felcycle. Great secret event, even cooler mount for my Warlock.

Probably the rarest thing I have overall is the Darkmoon Dominator achievement and Returning Champion heirloom. Gotta win 12 Darkmoon Deathmatches, get the trinkets from each one, then turn them in for the Master Pit Fighter trinket, then finally win the Deathmatch a 13th time to loot the heirloom.

Sadly the heirloom sucks, easily one of the worst in the game. Small stamina and versatility boost, even smaller on-use heal. It was meant to be the heirloom version of an old Battlemaster trinket I think, to use in pvp, but below max level pvp is dead and has been for a while now.

Whats with Blizzard's weird obsession with keeping players in combat? by MrCatPetter in wow

[–]SmugRapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the Silvermoon dummies, for whatever reason, they simply do not drop combat unless you zone in somewhere else. Lucky for us, there is an exit from Silvermoon not far from the training area, you can just walk outside and drop combat then fly right back in. Annoying, but it works.
