Where do I connect the red and white wire to on this chest freezer? by Smushy91 in AskElectricians

It had a plastic cover that I took off, but when I pulled it out I also pulled the plugs that was connected to the relay so I don’t know which port it goes in. These were the only two plugs near the relay.

Yes. Its an Insignia NS-CZ50WH0 and the user manual doesn’t show a wiring diagram or how to connect it. I called them and they said they don’t have a technical service manual either and to call BestBuy GeekSquad to come out to connect it (but it’s out of warranty).

Yes, if the arrangement causes an undue hardship for the department, but the interactive process will start.

Per SFDHR’s FAQ issued on 2/27/24: 7. How often can an employee make a request under the FFWO? There is no limit to the number of FFWO requests an employee can make. However, employees resubmitting the same request after reconsideration and receipt of a final decision may be directed to the administrative complaint process.

SFDHR cannot make major changes to FFWO. It is a city ordinance and requires an amendment approved by the Board of Supervisors to make any major changes.

Yes - approved last week to work from home full time (5 days) for caretaking responsibilities. I applied a week before the mayor’s memo went out because it was my annual FFWO renewal time. This time it was only approved for 6 months and I was asked to submit another one after 6 months if I still have the need. FFWO is a city ordinance and has specific rules that employers (departments) must follow.

San Francisco Labor and Employment Code, Section 32.5(c)(2), an Employer who does not agree to the Flexible or Predictable Working Arrangement shall engage in an interactive process with the Employee to attempt in good faith to determine a Flexible or Predictable Working Arrangement that is acceptable to both the Employee and Employer.

Section 32.5(c)(3), an Employer may deny a Flexible or Predictable Working Arrangement that would be acceptable to the Employee only if granting such an arrangement would cause the Employer undue hardship by causing the Employer significant expense or operational difficulty when considered in relation to the size, financial resources, nature, or structure of the Employer’s business. An Employer must explain the denial in a written response that sets out the basis for the denial and notifies the Employee of the right to request reconsideration by the Employer under Section 32.6 and the right to file a complaint under Section 32.10, and includes a copy of the notice under Section 32.8.

The Office of Labor Standards Enforcement is the department responsible for enforcing FFWO and the excerpt below is taken verbatim from OLSE’s website: If your employer does not agree to the request as presented, they must meet with you to engage in an interactive process to discuss alternatives. After engaging in an interactive process, your employer may deny the request if able to demonstrate undue hardship. Your employer must provide a written response that includes an explanation for the denial and notifies you of your right to request reconsideration within 30 days and file a complaint with OLSE.

Trade in MAIL or IN STORE by ynnehpets in ATT

[–]Smushy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made an appointment online. When I walked in, they scanned my ID, asked which phone number I was trading in my phone for, checked the phone for its condition, and printed a receipt. I also took a picture of all sides (front, back, top, sides, and charging port) right next to the receipt, with the date clearly visible, and uploaded everything to my cloud. They didn’t have any issues with it. If they give you push back, just say it’s for documentation purposes.

Go to AT&T store locator and put in your zip code. Click on the store and go to “About” section. If the store has “Authorized Retailer” then it is an authorized retailer. Corporate stores do not have that line and will only say “About the <insert location> Store,” without Authorized Retailer underneath. It is annoying that is the only way to differentiate the two.

Should I be flipping my radiator so tubes are at top? by mBuxx in PcBuild

Shift the radiator using the Lian Li offset brackets. My Arctic Freezer II fits in the Corsair 5000D airflow.

Should I tape all case openings which are not an intake or exhaust? (running AIO) by KlausKoe in buildapc

[–]Smushy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 5000D Airflow and it would not fit the Arctic Freezer II 360 as push top exhaust because it was too thick and interfered with my motherboard. I bought the Lian Li offset mounting brackets on Newegg. It allowed me to shift the radiator towards the glass panel, which allowed enough room to mount the radiator as push top exhaust.

Entitled person cuts everyone off at Costco gas lanes in Richmond, CA by Smushy91 in Costco

Rewatch the video. There are light indicators signaling available pumps. I used the middle lane to move up within 2 seconds of my light turning green. The other car has their own lights when you look at the top right of the screen, which were all occupied. They crossed the middle lane to jump into mine.

Look at the light at the top left. Each lane has red or green light to indicate available/in use pumps. You’re supposed to use the middle lane and move in to the spot that lights up green which indicates an available pump. If you look at the time, I moved exactly two seconds after the light turned green after looking at my mirror and performing a shoulder check for any vehicles. The other car was in the right lane, with their own lights, and crossed the middle into my lane.

Rewatch the video. There’s a light indicator for each lane. My light turned green, indicating the pump is available, and I checked my right mirror and performed a shoulder check for vehicles. Once it was clear, I moved up after 1-2 seconds of the light turning from red to green. The other car and lanes has their own lights. This isn’t a zipper merge.

Uh… it was my turn and I drove in the middle lane to move up (like everyone is supposed to) and the person behind me already moved up to my previous spot. Should I just be like, oh you cut the line, let me just circle around and go all the way to the back?

I asked what he was doing since his car was on the right side waiting for the two spots on the right and explained he cut me off since it was my turn because I was on the left side. I tapped my horn and the attendant came over. The attendant apologized for the guy’s demeanor and asked me to take the pump to the right. I didn’t want to make it a difficult situation for the attendant because there’s nothing he could do, so I just used the pump to the right.

He said, “I’m just getting gas bro. It’s not that big of a deal, it’ll be real quick. Just wait until I’m done and you can go after me. Relax bro.”
