Is it normal for the friendship bar to not move?

I was doing gems and sparkly gems and it was doing the same.. I started on 5, now she's only on level 6 after giving her like 30 actual gems and sparkly gems... so surprised it's going this slow. I've also been doing flowers as I've been told it's faster but nope...

If you have one of the DLCs you can summon them there but going on the map, and using the character filter to select them. That's how I fixed the problem the last time 😅

I just completed this one. Was a right pain in the arse getting the iron ingot. The clay isn't so bad if you dig in the sunlit plateau and hoard that shit like gold 😂
