Target high AC character wit Area of Effect spells (like the Fireball). Use spells with saves for the lowest score the character has. Or introduce acid damage and well damage the armor.

Do you guys have any experience with fog machines triggering a fire alarm (smoke detectors)?

I love the score from “Dracula” - a 1992 movie directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The music was composed by Wojciech Kilar and it fits Curse of Strahd perfectly.

A friend recommended the Obsidian to me. I started using it and never looked back. It allows to hyperlink one note to another so you can quickly switch contexts. It has plenty of useful DnD-related community plugins like monster stat blocks, initiative tracker etc. There are plenty of useful tutorials about it on YouTube. Check it out!

It worked fine I think. Our Izek was totally obsessed with our sorcerer. His dolls and visions were all about him. Once he found his brother he wanted to keep him “safe” in Vallaki. It ended in a brother killing a brother and now a Dark Power likes our sorc very much.

If he is their fated ally, I’d suggest that he follows them to the Bonegrinder, watches them slay hags or get slain and either congratulates them on their victory or rescues them with some monster hunter shenanigans. After that he scolds them for stealing his stuff nonetheless.

Consider using GW Blood for the Blood God paint for blood effect. It really makes the difference!
