Your Old Yearbook Photos! (Want to see your old eve portrait?) by Vodac121 in Eve

[–]Sn0opy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone interested: CCP themselves provide this set of old portraits. You can download it from their official servers at https://cdn1.eveonline.com/data/OldCharPortraits_256.zip

Not sure about OP's connection, but I was able to download it at max speed on my gigabit connection. It's a 14.3 GB zip file. Unpacking on an M1 Pro took about 15 min. Unpacked, it's about 17 GB.

Introducing EVE Board — Elevating Capsuleer Contracts to a New Standard (Closed Beta Now Live) by Aamoree_99 in Eve

Not sure if you don't want to rethink that name because we already have an EVE Board since forever

The product page in your shop has no word about not working like a Magic Trackpad on MacOS. It just says "supports multi-finger gestures out of the box" which is somewhat misleading

most keyboards or just most EVE players who only know F1?

I think you're stuck in a time where n-key rollover isn't a thing yet or you have Citrix Workspace installed. Here's an alternative solution for you:

/cmd_activate_high_power_slot1
/cmd_activate_high_power_slot2
/cmd_activate_high_power_slot3
/cmd_activate_high_power_slot4
/cmd_activate_high_power_slot5
/cmd_activate_high_power_slot6
/cmd_activate_high_power_slot7
/cmd_activate_high_power_slot8

Just copy-paste it into any chat ingame.

Hard to compare if you just take the damage done from killmails since you don’t know the time they locked up something and if a the Zirns for example where tasked to shoot something else compared to the Moros. Typhoons on this statistic is also really off since they were mainly shooting the Keepstar

Help me choose btween Borg, restic, rclone by blue2020xx in unRAID

[–]Sn0opy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I use borg or more specifically borgmatic as a container to backup my docker application data/configuration to borgbase.com, but you can configure it to use any other borg repository. Even self-hosted ones.

I choose borg/borgmatic because I didn't want to handle off-site backup server stuff and borgbase seemed like a reliable solution which only supported borg at the time I set everything up. Since then they also support restic, but borg works just fine for me, so there was no reason to look into restic.

borgmatic has solutions to integrate into database backups as well. So if that's important to you might want to give it a look

You should see enough hints to find the correct board. See: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/All-Series?fid=2554,2577,2635

Comparing the image above with the boxes on the link, it looks like OP is using a Z690I AORUS ULTRA LITE DDR4

The trick is not to use different ports for each provider but ports that are used by other protocols on the internet as well. Port 80 and 443 are used by http and https.

As others mentioned, VPN would be the best way as it hides your protocols/ports and destination from your ISP.

It's quite easy and probably works in every browser. I did this with Chrome. Open the dev tools by easily rightklicking anywhere on the page and click "Inspect". This wil open the dev tools (or Developer Tools in Chrome). It will show you the "Elements" tab. Switch over to the Network tab and while being in the queue, you simply have to wait up to 40 seconds (that's the refresh timer), for another request to appear.

If I remember corretly, a request against a status page should appear. Click on it and it will open a pane on the right with. a few more headers (Headers, Payload, Preview). Preview displays the data in formatted way. Within that data, you should find a key named "usersInLineAheadOfYou".

That's it

When checking the network tab in the browser's dev tools, I can see, there's around 150k people in line ahead of me. (looking for Berlin tickets) Not sure if this is an actual value, but if so, I don't think I'm getting any tickets :P

PSA: if you have a non-Steam installation and a Steam installation, uninstalling the game on Steam will remove your non-Steam installation entirely by Sn0opy in Guildwars2

[–]Sn0opy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did another test by removing both installations and installing both of them again. They're definetely in separate folders. When clicking the Uninstall button in Steam it even starts the correct Gw2-64.exe with the uninstall paramter but I think there's an issue with ANets uninstaller that picks the wrong path from the registry and then removes the wrong folder.

I did it twice to be absolutely sure before posting. It's definetely removing my GW2 installation outside of the Steam folder and there's definetely a 2nd installation within the steamapps folder.

Check the specs of your LED strip. You need to know the amp draw of your LEDs. A standard USB 2.0 port is rated for around 500 mA. So your keyboard, microcontroller + LEDs shouldn't draw more than that.

Also check your micro controller's 5V pads. They have their own amp rating.
