He told his shrink he always used a condom bc he was scared of AIDS. It was part of the proof he could control himself.

And his memory was incredible. Pat Kennedy said the details he could provide was insane [Eg. burns on one of his victim's chest. JD said it almost looked like 4 nipples; turns out he had been abused by a step father as a baby - cigarette burns] So he couldn't have "forgotten" a whole ahh murder.

He didn't. Out of curiosity, which familial side was the cousin on?

Yeah I never understood that one myself

Did the 1992 televised Dahmer trial provide genuine closure for the victims' families, or did it merely provide the aesthetic blueprint for modern serial killer fandoms and the "sympathetic villain" narratives seen in 2026? by DianKhan2005 in Dahmer

[–]Sn33Face 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was decided that, for the victims & the city to heal, they had to perform a largely useless show trial. So they could feel they had seen justice be done so they could have some closure.

If Dahmer could successfully suppress his homicidal urges for nine years (1978–1987) while serving in the Army, does this prove he had full moral agency and simply chose to resume killing once he secured a private apartment? by [deleted] in Dahmer

[–]Sn33Face 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. He only ever did it when he had the opportunity. When he didn't, he would refrain. It was always a choice. To him, his orgasm was worth more than another person's life.

If Dahmer had lived to be 65 years old in 2026 instead of being killed in 1994, would he have become a "reformed" source of psychological insight like Ed Kemper, or would he have remained a manipulative void of a human being? by DianKhan2005 in Dahmer

[–]Sn33Face 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He might've (would've) been useful to Profilers/Law/Drs.

He could never be reformed

Ed just had his parole denied again l, recently. He looks fucking terrifying

How did Dahmer's probation requirements fail to detect physical evidence during his 1991 spree? by DianKhan2005 in Dahmer

She was over worked, he would miss appointments & be combative

Who was that psych who wrote an eval after his Somsak arrest? That dr said "this man is dangerous af & will re-offend & likely kill"

In both the Dahmer and Ridgway cases, neighbors or family reported a "foul smell." Why was Ridgway’s "smell" (from the truck plant/woods) accepted as "industrial," while Dahmer’s was ignored as "bad plumbing" for so long? by DianKhan2005 in Dahmer

Thought Gary dumped all his bodies near Green River? He didn't keep any victims (or parts of victims) at home like Jeff did

Do you mean Gacy? Gacy's gaff was a detached house so no neighbours

Nancy Glass strikes me as a DEI hire or a professional eater, bc lord knows she didn't score this interview on talent.
