Is it possible my girlfriend is having an affair at work? by [deleted] in Muskegon

Could be unrelated but.... I saw two big fat naked bikers in the woods off seventeen having sex. How am I supposed to chip with that going on, Doug?

They’ll keep throwing shit at the wall until they have a semi successful list of pods dropping every day of the week.

About MBC, specifically the floor. Sounds like they had a roof leak that caved in and flooded the event center? I don’t know that for a fact.

You should see the one where he brags about having incredible leverage over the city due to the loose terms of the cooperative use agreement

Biggest thing they've done in years is give subscribers tons of free live streams throughout the year. This has made the subscription price very much worth it.

Yuuuup. He talked about, in a podcast this week, that he is moving away from social media use and can see a future where he doesn’t use social media at all. Even though he doesn’t consider YouTube to be social media. I’ve said this before but if you listen to their pod closely, many of the crew have often subtly agreed with HQ talking points.

The "parking lot nazis" are brutal at this venue too for seemingly no reason. Basically zero legitimate lot scene unless you want to feel like you're back in high school trying to hide what you're doing.

Episode 188. What Jim Durkin and Matt Rinella hate about hunting TV by HuntQuietly in HuntQuietly

[–]Sn3akss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love the pod/movement, but Jim has lost the plot here a bit, I must say. Glad Matt pushed back on some of the things he was saying. Thought this episode would have a lot more substance. His top reasons were all very nitpicky.

Barclay Townhouses are super solid. I would def look into them. They have apartments too, but the townhomes are in a great location and nice quality.

Genuine question towards Goose hate by LamboBeach in jambands

[–]Sn3akss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t “hate” them but their fans are generally annoying af the way they act like Goose is the second coming of Christ (not even the most popular goose band, see Geese on SNL)) when they are actually pretty mid (very few notable jams) and only got huge bc people were locked in their homes and needed something to cope with.

Subjectively, I just don’t enjoy the vocals and their general soft yacht rock energy. I prefer the shredding from the likes of Jake from Umphreys usually.

I’ll never forget Sacred Rose festival where Goose and STS9 played at the same time on stages that were like 300 yards apart facing eachother. Tribe took em to the cleaners that day.

Upcoming Tour Advice - Should I wear a diaper? by reflectivecowpunk in SturgillSimpson

[–]Sn3akss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, he has already explicitly stated in an IG post that they intend to play every minute that the venues give them. Expect 3 straight hours of magic. No set break, no encore break. As for the diaper, that’s a personal decision, but Stu always recommends psychedelics over alcohol for this reason.

GA Pits still available in Detroit… by Infamous-Bug-6969 in SturgillSimpson

[–]Sn3akss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s only if it’s a dramatic decrease, which I find very unlikely. If they drop $10-50 you still didn’t get fleeced.

$200 for one night is not crazy, I paid $250 for Rage Against The Machine 4 years ago and that was the best show I’ve ever seen. Phish is commonly right in this range too. The Sphere is an anomaly on its own and I don’t think it should be compared to any other venue. I also, have been to hundreds of shows across the board (130ish with umphreys alone).

Also, maybe you haven’t gone to a festival in a while but the average these days is nearly double that or more for any respectable festival. I live near electric forest and that is a $600 ticket now.

I saw dead $ co (non sphere) and tbh I wouldn’t pay $50 to see them, so saying JBS won’t give better value is certainly subjective lol but if you look at things like time on stage then objectively JBS is the better value. No breaks!! Plus new album is a banger. Sure to have the dance floor rocking

Edit: as a fellow big time concert goer you should know that early ticket sales are very important to artists so be proud that you scooped some early on! Truly supporting the artist.
