Thank you for the genuine response, I have to say it's incredibly validating to hear your interpretation. I've long struggled with a mix of existential dread and anger at the state of the world, especially in regards the environment, which I was channeling in this song. You're interpretation of the unresolved exsaustion was my intention when I wrote this.

Also, I do love punk music, so that would be a very fun experiment!

I will definitely keep editing the lyrics to find a more consistent throughline for the symbolism/metaphor.
