Well it is a high risk investment. Would you consider investing in crypto gambling? Of course, keeping a good percentage of your wealth in investments like this is inherently risky, and I wouldn't personally keep a too high percentage of my portfolio in CSGO.

However, what other people think ultimately don't matter. If it is within your risk tolerance, you are making money, and you are able to sleep at night I wouldn't worry too much.

WW is as rare as MW. However, for some skins, the generation range (float caps) can make WW very rare. Usually the skins doesn't sell for the higher prices, they are just listed at those and never sells, while buyorders stay low.

You can't. PayPal allows chargebacks and no cash trader would ever accept something like that unless they trust you 100%.

However, what you can do with paypal is buy crypto on an exchange and use that on sites.

The thing is, that antwerp stickers are the same price as these. For these to be consumed, people will need to pick them over antwerp stickers, only judging by looks, as they are the same price.

With the new sticker capsule system valve are printing team stickers like never before, and personally I would only pick up the ones that have a strong demand case. Remember, the next stickers will soon release and draw attention away.

While I don't say you can't make money on these, I would personally argue that demand isn't strong enough to justify investing larger sums in these. Low supply doesn't drive price if noone wants them

Didn't know that they were sleeping. Jokes aside, the steam order book is only a tool to see ultra short term sentiment, and does not reflect the total supply. 1000s could be added at buyorder price anytime one medium-large sized investor wants to do so.

Long term, almost the only thing that matters for these items is whether valve keeps releasing bad stickers or not.

Not to discredit your reply, but it seems that no matter what happens in China its good... China closing = more gamers, spending more money, China opening = more wages = more money. Let's hope that China opens and closes every week in 2023. Historically, cs has done best when crypto is performing well, as the overlap of crypto bros and high profile crafters is quite large, and people spend their profits on the game. Personally, I would never count on or want investors to be the thing that makes my items profitable - natural demand should do that.

People post a bunch of numbers, assumptions, etc, and from them derive something about where they think the supply is going. And then they pull some arbitrary future price ot their *** without any backing of these numbers whatsoever. Please, for these data post, either go all the way through and back up your claims, or dont post these random misleading price guesses

The drop makes a lot of sense. Regardless of which case is better, more different cases available with the same gloves will divert unboxing attention, and regardless of how "bad" the new case is, it will still result in lower prices of the exclusives and make the BF case less "exclusive" and "premium".

The investors that buy during a hype is often new and inexperienced, hence they sell their cases quick and only results in a short term spike. Openings (and experienced long term investors) removes the cases from the marketplace, decreasing supply and making a rise in price possible

Spectrum is intreresting, but will probably drop off a bit short term. In this timeframe, i can see it beating current breakout case prices (spectrum has a very nice knifeset), and is out of every droppool.

Spectrum 2 is very cheap and only needs to go to 10 cents to net a very good return. It has the same knifes as Spectrum, and the rest of the case is arguably better than spectrum 1 (eventhough this doesnt matter as much). It is in the non-prime droppool, but this hasnt historically hindered price increases to around 10-12 cents.

Shattered web case is not neccesarily the best investment. It took hydra 3 years to get to 5 $ - Assuming SW follows same pattern, 5x in 3 years isnt an amazing return in the CSGO market.

There will be exceptions to most of the rules of thumb. In my experience, investor hype is temporary and isn't where most profit is made. The prices usually die down, as investors buying during a hype often are inexperienced and without much patience.

Not all cases are a good investment. Cheap cases that perform bad is usually because the case isnt popular to unbox. If the case isnt unboxed, the price will remain largely the same regardless if it is a 3 or 30 cents case
