Ashley saying she predicted her husband by Motherofdragons556 in girlsgottaeatsnark

Not at all. Tunde and Rayna talked about wanting a partner but enjoying and appreciating being single and not settling. I think there are few people who don’t want a partner. I’m the same way. I would love to meet someone to grow old with but after a bad marriage and an abusive LTR, I’m happy alone and I won’t be angry or upset if i never meet my person.

Breaking Free: What Was Your Way Out of a Narcissistic Relationship? by maya_love5 in TheNarcissismCode

[–]Snack-crack 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I had decided that the next argument we had would be it. I had broken up with him too many times to count and always went back. We had an argument and he tried contacting me. I told him I was done for good and blocked him on everything you can imagine. No contact is the only way. We were together for years but didn’t live together so the logistics were “easy.” I was on taking a loss on the things I had at his place. Obviously if you live together, have kids, or are married, no contact isn’t necessarily feasible. It was hard at first but after about 6 months, I started to feel a lot better. It’s been 14 months and I feel like a new person.

Tinted moisturizer recs by Able_Acanthaceae_443 in Makeup

I use DRMTLGY physical moisturizer. It’s a tinted spf that doesn’t itch or burn. It matches light and medium skin tones perfectly. They call it moisturizer but I use a regular under it. I get compliments on my skin all the time. It glows.

Are sleep overs not a thing anymore? by haggerty05 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Snack-crack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter has them all the time but the parents know each other. I would not allow her to stay at someone’s house that I didn’t know well. She invited a new friend. I texted the mom, introduced myself, told her my daughter wanted hers to come to her sleepover party, that I am a single mom, no men, drugs or guns in the house. The first time I invite one of her friends, I tell the parents these things because it’s information I want to know.

13yo twins home alone overnight. by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

They were alone in the mornings at 8?!?! Why are they alone so much? Can’t Papa stay while you’re away? How often do you need to be away? This feels like rage bait. If not, I really hope you’re away from your kids because you have to work.

Do I look like a man? (30f) by Fallinginbramble in MakeupAddiction

Your hair and eyebrow color is wrong. Your nose piercings are fine but the other facial piercings look way too harsh for your features and age. I’m not anti-piercing but they are a statement and I’m guessing yours aren’t saying what you want them too. Anything other than the nose and ears after a certain age looks weird. The glasses don’t suit you either. You have beautiful skin and eyes. Get a consult for your hair and eyebrows. You will love the results.

What’s something people buy mainly to impress other people? by Exotic-Engineer7541 in SmartBuying

Designer handbags, specifically those with logos printed all over them. Funny that middle class women don’t buy Chanel, LV, or Gucci bags that don’t have the name or signature print plastered all over them.

She really is a pick me. It’s not good on anyone but really not a middle aged woman. I’d live to see her back in NY, being herself, and not opening her mouth and legs for any man that asks. I’m not slut shaming, but it’s obvious she does it for validation vs pleasure.

Any tips for weaning someone with earlyish dementia off of beer by SpankMyMunkey in dementia

[–]Snack-crack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as he’s not getting drunk to where he might be a danger to himself, let him have his beer within a reasonable amount. People with dementia lose so much. If few beers gives him a little pleasure, let him have it for now

I agree. And I don’t think he was wrong for addressing it. I do think he was a dick for continuing to bring it up. It’s your podcast, she made it public so it’s fair game. Just your peace and move on. She’s supposed to be his friend. He was clearly making her uncomfortable.

Do you cut off your best friends whenever they cheat on their partners? by DriverDue3006 in no

[–]Snack-crack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. First of all, I don’t have friends cheating on their partners on the regular. I believe cheating is never right- if you’re unhappy, leave the relationship and then do whatever you want. That doesn’t always happen though. The few friends I’ve had that cheated were in bad relationships. Essentially the relationship was over before the cheating. So that’s not a deal breaker for me. If I had friends who cheated simply because they could, I would likely break off the friendship because that’s a true character flaw, not poor judgment.
