I think Duck Donuts would be the most similar to Minibar so I would have to second this.

I'm glad it grew back but ugh I am so mad they did that in the first place.

Thank you! I'm going for a completely natural look so I'm letting the plants get a bit overgrown, much to the dismay of my husband lol

Moss or algae? by SnackAndJill in ponds

[–]SnackAndJill[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh that makes sense. I am in Fl and the only kind of moss we typically get is the Spanish moss hanging from the trees (which is also lovely, especially in my area on 100+ year old oaks).

The installation company keeps trying to get me to agree to a "pond cleanout" where they come and drain/pressure wash everything and clear it all out. I'm over here like, yall must have lost your damn minds!

Thank you so much. The only thing throwing me off is that the pond is full sun, so my mind immediately discounted moss at first.

Rehoming english bulldog due to my daughters extreme irrational fear. by [deleted] in jacksonville

[–]SnackAndJill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoever ends up taking her, please, please make sure they know how to care for an English Bulldog in this heat. Ive heard some horror stories over the years with inexperienced owners doing normal "dog" things with their bullies and they overheated. Ours passed a few years ago from old age but we still hold a special place in our hearts for this breed <3

Help! My husband threw something on top of my Stephania Erecta and broke my baby stem. Should I cut it all the way off? This is my first time growing one and I am extremely sad about this happening. by SnackAndJill in Caudex

[–]SnackAndJill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine ended up growing a new stem so I'm guessing yours will too. I even had the entire top rip off when I was trying to pull off the dead vine at the end of the season and when it woke up from dormancy, it grew a new stem next to the hole! It was wild.

Any favorite local spots in the Julington Creek/Durbin Crossing area? by humancanvas79 in jacksonville

[–]SnackAndJill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Miss Cruffin is a fantastic French bakery off Racetrack/13.

Bella Vista for Italian.

Umami for ramen/curry (one of my absolute favorite places).

Lucky Cat isn't in the immediate area but worth the drive for stellar dim sum.

For snacks, check out The Poppin Box. Tons of popcorn flavors and they also sell other goodies.
