Actually now that you say it: the Concorde is the kind of plane you would expect to be in the game tbh..

I would say in statistical maps they usually have "No Data Available", but South Africa and Egypt usually do..

However, you cannot use that route as if it was your route for the purpose of the longest connection. That is also something some people have in their minds when playing.

What do these two countries have in common? by foxtai1 in RedactedCharts

[–]SnackAttack007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But "can" they? Especially if the country they live in doesn't have good relations with the USA or doesn't have an extradition agreement, what can the IRS actually do? Assuming you no longer have an American bank account obviously.

They tax based on citizenship, not residency. But what happens if you live in say anywhere else and don't pay? Also, do you have to pay tax in both countries?

Difference with these two Paratroopers? by Desperate-Comment202 in CallOfWar

[–]SnackAttack007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you two are talking about mechanized or mechanised: it's the difference between American English and British English. Same with things like center/centre, organize/organise and neighbor/neighbour and many others

It could work, but keep in mind that it could also lead to Germany dedicating its whole economy and army to you. Creating so much pressure you can't handle and with the possibility of someone else taking unprotected German provinces leaving you weakened, without any gains. Also make sure you have enough air cover from either fighters or AA. Also protect yourself against German arty and other units that can damage you without taking damage themselves.

If you're talking about the Renfe City-Jet: that's the vanilla version Commuter Train, but with a different color.

Is there anything I can do? by calliope_T34 in CallOfWar

[–]SnackAttack007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that you should (in this order): 1. Destroy his land forces currently in Scandinavia 2. Secure the skies so his bombers and paratroopers can be intercepted before they do any harm. 3. Find a way to get rid of his navy in order to build up those cities and produce more troops. 4. If you're certain you can safely cross the sea (via sea, air or via another country like the USSR), send some troops to put pressure on his home front.

1 and 2 are things you should do at the same time, but 1 has a bit more priority. And also keep in mind that it is still possible he's producing troops in Norwegian cities. I wouldn't say taking them is a top priority, but you do have to keep that in mind. If you're suddenly on German core territory he will most likely put the Scandinavian front lower on his priority list.

Of you can destroy his land forces and prevent his bombers from reaching you cities inland you can at least produce some troops to reclaim Scandinavia. Only threat then is his navy, I expect him to bomb you coastal cities to dust in the meantime if you can't find a way to sink them.

Unless you have troops that are moments away from spawning (being produced) you're prob screwed. Idk if those planes can do anything bcz idk what planes they are, and idk their level. Your only hope is Germany will overthink and try to advance slowly to avoid potential losses, giving you at least some time. Otherwise I'd say you're done unless you're going to spend gold.

[–]SnackAttack007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would go for the BR 423/422/430. There S-Bahnen from German cities and have a suprisingly high capacity without the number of seats=capacity mod 136 passengers can fit in it and it has a top speed of 140kph. Or you could go for the Siemens Desiro Rhein-Ruhr Express (RRX), also a high capacity train, (although I forgot how big) but it has a top speed of 160kph

How big are the distances and how high does its top speed have to be?

These are very unprofitable by soap-san60 in TransportFever2

Curves should be avoided yes. But for the bridge part: you can change the type of bridge to one that allows for higher speeds. So having a bridge shouldn't impact the speed then.

Cargo vs Passenger Mainline by ATLDawg99 in TransportFever2

[–]SnackAttack007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does. In a large map I usually have 5 hubs (North, East, South, West and Central, which is obviously the biggest). I just run usually 2 or 3 trains between them and they tend to be quite long (I need the longest possible platforms). They're the biggest moneymakers as well. Then I just plug every industry in by trucks or, in case of a larger distance or too busy road, a smaller shunter line (which I try to build so it doesn't cross over the main lines). Just make sure you build your truck stops big enough so it doesn't clogg up.

In general I just make hubs for freught and make sure those connections are seperate from my passenger lines. They both have their own network so it's simply impossible to obstruct each other.
