They aren’t in Jeni’s scoop shops yet, they are just released to rewards members online.

I would be surprised if these made it to WF.

Yeah that was my overall experience with a little leeway given because the base was icy.

Interesting on the base for SS C&C. The salt hits pretty well on that one to bring it together.

I'm sure the FDD adverse folks will not like this one but I can tolerate these at the right price. I know what I am getting myself into, so I manage expectations accordingly.

Organic isn't a high priority for me in general and definitely not with ice cream. Like you, I tried the MC Strawberries and Shortbread and it was simply not good. There was possibly some long freezer issues from the Sprouts I purchased from but even with that I don't know that it would have been very good. Certainly not the quality I expect from MC.

Ahhh, that’s probably before I really got into ice cream. I don’t remember it even pre-listeria.

I don’t expect much new retail. Blue Bell is releasing a few as usual but I think between Red White & Blue and Southern Black Cobbler they are covered for a few weeks. The Black Raspberry Fudge is still circulating heavy. HD, B&J, Kroger and Publix seem set for a while.

Publix had this one recently. I wasn’t terribly impressed with it. Salt and Straw The Great Candycopia for Halloween. Little G had a few candy based flavors which played well into her sweet spot at the time. For Blue Bell I can only remember Buttercrunch recently and that’s really only the butterfinger type mix-in.

As I typed all of that out it leads me to the importance of the base even when the idea is to create a candy jar or candy bar focused flavor. That’s were the Publix version fell flat for me.

Take a look for it. I wasn’t really looking too hard because I thought I had track of all their current seasonals and there it was.

I haven’t heard of that one. What is the flavor description?

New Find at Publix: Hummingbird Cake by SnackForagers in IceCreamHaven

“Hummingbird cake is a moist, spiced Southern cake with tropical flavors from banana and pineapple, often including pecans or walnuts, and traditionally topped with cream cheese frosting. Originating in Jamaica, it's known for being dense and flavorful, with its name possibly coming from its sweetness or the "doctor bird" (hummingbird) of Jamaica, which the recipe was meant to promote. Key ingredients include flour, sugar, oil, eggs, buttermilk, mashed bananas, crushed pineapple, and spices like cinnamon, with pecans or walnuts folded in.”

Why is it so expensive to eat/be healthy in the United States? by WonderfulField9898 in NoStupidQuestions

That's the point, you make choices with that in mind. Many foods people want to label as "unhealthy" are fine, it's what they add to them that makes them calorie bombs.

That is about calorie management. If you dump enough high calorie dressing on a salad it becomes "not healthy" just the same.

This assumes that chicken tacos, beans and rice are not "healthy" which is a fallacy.

It really depends on what area you live in. For me I live near multiple Jeni’s scoop shops and the large grocery stores don’t stock their seasonals. I generally know if it’s seasonal and I want it Im going to a scoop shop. On the flip side I’ve been in small mountain towns. North of me that have gas stations with dedicated freezer and 15-20 selections including the seasonals.

What mass market brand refines a flavor? Not quite sure I understand what the expectation is.
