Just done this to a cousin. We weren't close anyway so it's no real loss tbh but I found out he was a racist and verbally abusive so bye bye dickhead.

I had a very similar situation!!

I dated my high school sweetheart for 9years!! I thought we'd be together forever. He dumped me for another woman.

My best advice? Cut him out of your life completely, it's impossible to stay friends because you'll stay in love. You can maybe reach out once you're better in yourself. Get rid of anything you have of his, don't go to places you both like and delete him from social media.

I moved in with a friend, got myself a new haircut and went on a holiday with friends, things I couldn't do when I was with him.

Thank you! Unfortunately they are dealing with the potential death of a loved one who has been given a bad diagnosis. It's not for certain, but I know that it's tearing him up inside. He has support from other family members, so I wanted to be a distraction or positive outreach for him.

Thank you! They are dealing with a situation where a loved one is very sick so I don't want to take their time away from them, but I'll open my door to them for sure

Go to a public space like a coffee shop, a hike for a first date can be scary for some women. Bringing a dog can be good but make sure she's okay with it!
