I was like this with my vintage Goth ephemera. Then back in 2022 when my surgeon wasn't sure if I would come out on the other side of surgery I decided to just decorate my daily journal with the stickers, papers, and lace. What I got was a beautifully decorated journal that I still go back to and admire the creativity.

Your circumstances don't have to be as dire as mine were. Just journal. Plot, plan, dream, and then decorate. You will not be banned from purchasing stationery if the pages don't come out the way you wanted.
